Best draw will win sectional. Which ever team gets home field will win.

Not sure about that. HH beat GS at GS. Lincoln beat Jasper on the road. If Lincoln stays healthy they can beat anybody in that sectional.

First, I wasn't insinuating that I was worrying about PC. I was merely refuting your comment about the team playing the best will win.

But you can't tell me that you don't care where Jasper plays Reitz! Does playing on turf all season then having to play on grass mean anything?

coach brewer always said......worry about the things you can control. you have to be able to adapt to advance in the tourney.jasper has played on turf at harrison and at southridge. tbh if jasper would go down to the bowl and beat reitz..... i would feel better about our chances of advancing past the regional. i wasn't insinuating you were worried about pc........you threw them in the fray.......because you wanted to refute my statement. never mentioned the chargers one time in my posts.

8. Pike Central    at    1. Vincennes Lincoln

5. Mt. Vernon      at    4. Memorial

7. Bosse             at     2. Heritage Hills

6. Princeton        at     3. Gibson Southern

This is how the sectional should look. But I guess we shall see how the "random" draw turns out on Sunday.

does anyone think bosse is capable of pulling an upset?

not asking if they can run the table......but whether they can knock off one of the better teams

I've seen Bosse play twice (vs. Memorial and vs. North). They have players who can compete 1-on-1 with anyone, but they unfortunately have some players, who routinely get beat on every play. Their depth is also a huge issue. Bosse's 2013 was a true threat to challenge in last year's sectional, but I don't see that this season.

There were literally plays I saw this year from Bosse where the QB threw a bubble screen and the QB would beat offensive linemen and tight ends down field in trying to throw blocks and follow the play.

I can't see Bosse staying within four touchdowns of any of the top four teams in Sectional 32.

Hawkins was suspended this last game against Washington for violation of team rules. Really hope he stays out of trouble. Kids a good kid, just has had a rough upbringing. Jeff Cunningham is a heck of a guy for taking him in. If he would potentially mess up, scratch Vincennes out of contention.

To HH Fans, I'm hearing lots of good bout Crews. Even saw some highlights. Question I have is how does Crews compare to Alex Bettag? In my opinion, he was the last really, really good skill position/football player I've seen from HH. Granted I'm rusty from the last few years. Bettag was special, though.

Most years possible, this year HIGHLY unlikely

It could be because Mount Vernon's biggest loss doesn't count because its against a out of state team Mount Carmel.

Ahh that would make sense!! Doesn't make it more accurate but I see how that comes up that way then, thanks!

The numbers were super close from 6-8 in the Coaches poll. Vincennes has a water downed schedule compared to what we use to play and being down the past few years, I can see why they are sceptical, even though we're undefeated with a few good wins.

Yeah I understand the hesitation but VL has had a few nice wins. I think the IFCA polls are more representative and accurate only because HH did beat GS, but at the same time I think these 3 teams could really be ranked in any order 5-7/8. I think we are all excited for the draw!

I think if and that's a big if we are able to beat Mt.Carmel at their place, we should jump both them in the polls and be the hypothetical 1 seed for sectionals. We'd be the only undefeated team. Do I believe we are better than GS? Hmm..nope. Can we beat them...yes. Glad to see HH is back, also. They've always been extremely classy on this forum dating back to when I first started posting in 05.

How can this be a big if???  Lincoln goes into Jasper and beats Jasper.......Mt. Carmel gets hammered by Jasper.......Lincoln should be able to handle the pit just fine then.

All of this ranking stuff would be great if there was seeding in the tournament, or something close........but I bet there will be a first round match up that is going to have two teams scratching their heads.......the blind draw is always good for that!
