Yes we throw the ball more than some but we are pretty balanced run/pass. not the case friday...just saying...

We passed 31 times and ran the ball 17 times. It worked out for us, NK had a heck of a team.
Wildcat1992
I will say that Linton was better than I expected. Both teams had some poor tackling in the secondary that led to some big plays. Weather certainly impacted the second half as both teams were sliding all over. This came down to the team making the fewest mistakes would win. Linton had a fumble, blocked PAT, missed 2 pt conversion and an INT. MD took care of the ball and came out with the win.

Something that was key to MD coming out on top but hasn't gotten much attention was the punting of Eli McDurmon. Twice in the 4th quarter, with MD forced to punt from deep in their own territory, McDurmon responded with consecutive punts of well over 50 yds. I have not seen any stats from the game but his 2nd half avg. had to be > 50 yds.

Jus one of those decisions... a very bad one as it turns out.... if it works ur a hero..... the risk/reward at that point in the game cant b justified.... jmho

MDAlum82
I understand NP has developed quite a passing attack this year. IMHO, a strong passing attack can be a great equalizer. Most high school D's have trouble with a really good passing game. This game could get interesting if MD cannot get pressure on the QB. I seen that today looking at stats. I didn’t expect to see 2000 yards in the passing category lol
Moonshiners
I’m going to say 35-20 MD. NP can put up some points but MD’s defense will make enough stops. Ski will be flowing at the Bowl on Friday.

jets
Not that my opinion matters - but I will say that this is not your father's North Posey team. Their QB, if he has time, can put the ball where it needs to be. And they have some playmakers on the outside that can make you pay for playing man-to-man, which we all know MD is very fond of. Could be an interesting match-up if the NP defense can get some stops.

jets
I asked this earlier in the thread, but not sure I received a real clear answer. (I think some people took it as trying to drum up “recruit” talk- which I wasn’t) ...genuinely curious as to how common the MD QB situation is with kiddos in the same household?? (One brothere at NP, the other at MD) I just can’t wrap my head around what that household must be like this week
