Bill Polian said the Colts are as good as anybody in the NFL.  Do you think he actually meant what he said or is he just being a former homer?

I would agree with him. That offense is easily the best in the AFC and if Mathis and Cole can provide any sort of pass rush I think they should easily win the AFC and have home field advantage in January. Not sure the defense has much room for injury issues, but if they stay healthy and take a step or two forward from last year they should be good enough to hold on to leads for Luck & Co.

Yeah the defense has the questions.  Pass rush and linebackers especially.  The secondary seems solid.  On offense, this could be the most productive group in Colts history.  I still say Frank Gore was the best FA the Colts signed.  He is going to tear it up against teams that won't load the box to stop the run.

It sounds like they tried to restructure his contract, but he did not wish to. With all his guranteed money and signing bonus, it looks like they have to pay him regardless, so it did not free up any cap room room to sign someone else. I am not sure what the benefit to this was.

It would have made more sense after this year. But it happens.

It looks like Heenan and the Colts reached an injury settlement, with Heenan being waived in the process. The Colts have now signed OL Kitt O'Brien, a Ball State and Lewis Cass product. I'm hoping that O'Brien makes the final roster or the practice squad.

Training camp this year is going much better without all of the injuries that the Colts had last year.  10 days now with the same 5 offensive linemen is a huge deal!  Am anxious to see how the defense will do in preseason.  They look pretty good at times against the #1 offense.  Health is going to play a big part in 2015 for the Colts on both sides of the ball.

The Colts sign WR T.Y. Hilton to a 5 year/$65 million extension! Good deal. Now lets get a Castonzo deal done.

Today is the last day of camp and the Colts have ZERO significant injuries!  Looking forward to see them go through the season now and stay healthy.  If that is the case, it could be a banner (pun intended) year in Indy.  Everyone is still lamenting about the defense but they have had a great camp.  They are playing with an attitude that they didn't have last year.  Maybe getting embarrassed in the AFC title game was what they needed.  I can't help but keep thinking about, "don't poke a sleeping bear".

Looks like the Colts needed to work on tackling in camp.  That was pathetic!  Was it me or are the Colts number 2's that bad?  They stunk up the place!

Have the Colts won more than a single pre-season game in a season in the past decade?

I remember there was a time during the Manning era where the Colt's  had lost more Preseason games than regular season games over a five year period or something along those lines.  It was a ridiculous number.

It's only preseason game 1 and I am sure there was very little effort put into game planning for the Eagle offense. The tackling was terrible, yes, but that should be an easy fix in the next week or two. Not the end of the world, but the players and coaches alike need to realize how bad it looked and be ready to hear it up.

I thought Dorsett looked pretty good, was open a lot of the day and showed he can run and stretch a defense. Will be a scary duo with Hilton.

The best thing of the day though had to be Teeeeebow! Played a pretty decent game all things considered!

He was resigned today.

Gave me a reason to watch the 2nd half of that terrible game.  Hopefully, him wearing Jeff Saturday's old number will bring him luck.

Yeah Tebow looked really decent against players who won't make Indy's roster.  LOL

And with linemen and receivers who won't make Philly's roster ;)

Okay I give in.  Tebow was player of the game.  Moving on.

Now, now, I wouldn't go that far lol but I was impressed with his performance considering he hasn't been in a game in 2 years and was playing with (and against) scrubs. With the new PAT rules I would think he can provide some pretty good value to a team, especially the Eagles, with his running abilities on 2 point plays.

The player of the game was likely the rookie receiver from the Eagles, or Robinson from the Colts (but he was playing against 3 and 4 stringers as well)

Colts and Bears holding joint practices for 2 days.  After yesterday, the biggest news was (and they made a huge deal about it): no fights.  Everyone got along so nicely and after practice rumor has it they all had juice boxes and made s'mores for snack time.
