Current D1 Recruits: Offers/Verbals

Recommended Posts

RB Hunter Bates from Adams Central is going to Northwestern Kentucky Tech State. 2017 OL Kyle Brown has multiple D1 offers including OSU,USC,Bama, Florida...etc

It's against our AC philosophy to have kids go higher than D3 or NAIA. Probably the best overall football player and athlete in awhile only went to St Francis. Bunch of guys from 06-07 all went to Trine. I'm glad to see our kids having some humor about it though.

Jovan Swann (DL Center Grove) just picked up his 20th offer...this time from the Univ of Virginia.  He now has offers from the Big 10, PAC 12, SEC, ACC, AAC, and MAC.  I love to see the # of academic schools such as Stanford, Northwestern, Vanderbilt, UVA, Navy, etc., along with so many other quality schools. Demonstrates this is a very bright young man, as well as quite the athlete.  Congrats Jovan!!

Jovan Swann just verbally committed to Stanford.  Congrats Jovan and the entire Swann family!!

Winchester Running Back Kiante Enis offered by Michigan State yesterday. The nephew of former Penn State running back Curtis Enis is now up to double digit offers with Michigan and Michigan State leading the way.

Enis decommits from UM...

Is this the real story or are there underlying reasons just cant really believe that 3-star running back would get upset and decommit from a powerhouse like UM because they are recruiting other RBs. Did he really expect them not to recruit anymore RBs, is this kinda thing even common in college football? Do colleges promise not to recruit other positions if a kids commits at that spot, especially in the age where your 2s and sometimes 3s need to be as good as your 1s and get a good chuck of playing time and you have special teams positions to fill as well RBs make great KR and PR? Just kinda baffles me

Was the dreaded "grey" shirt used?

Article talked about being closer to home, sounds like a good opportunities are still available to him at Purdue, Miami OH and Ball St.

My guess he winds up a cardinal, just throwing a dart, either way, awesome that he and others have an opportunity for college D1 scholarship.  Hats off

OT/DT Brandon Schoeneman from Adams Central participated in the Army All American game combine for next year's game. Not sure what he found out, but he is really wanting to give D1 consideration now. Hope the young man can gain some feedback as to where he stands. As I mentioned before, AC does not support D1 athletic endeavors. Athletes and parents have had to try getting the kids at higher levels. Believe we've had 1 player play for SMU around their death penalty time. That's been it.

To bad Coach Bartolomeo struggled to spell BOONVILLE correctly!  Certainly does not lessen Payton's commitment!
