Notre Dame has extended offer to Kiser

Congrats to Mr Kiser!

As a Pioneer grad and ND fan, I'd love to see him become the next Drue Tranquill. Putting that aside, I just want to see him pick a place that gives him the best chance to succeed.

Nice to hear that this kid has his eye on more than football.

I’ve never seen him play, but he’s listed at 206, and he’s not playing LB at Notre Dame unless he bulks up a bit from there. Is he fast enough to play safety? I wonder how he compares to someone like Nick Zachary a few years ago from Sheridan, who was the best 1A player I ever saw.

Not as fast but a better all around player.  Danny Anthrop is a better comparison in my opinion.

Never saw Zachary play. Did have an LCC game with Danny Anthrop. DA just seemed to run past everyone. Jack seems to run over guys then out run the ones left standing. From a size standpoint, I go back to who I originally compared him to...........Tranquill was listed at 6'2" 200lbs on a recruiting site his senior year at Carroll. That's the position I could see Jack playing. Obviously, competition will be the big question. I believe JK has been playing on a national level for years. My guess is the HS season is a cakewalk compared to what he has faced in the offseason.

I'm just happy to see a kid playing 1A ball is getting this much attention. Just goes to show that if you have the talent, they will find you.

I got chance to see all three many many times and who wouldn't feel blessed to have any of them on their roster.  all great players and deserve all accolades they receive. All a little different as well.

Anthrop and Zachary were both faster on a track than Kiser but IMO Kiser is much more of a physical presence on the field. All three fantastic playmakers.

kiser can literally play anywhere on the field. I believe college coaches see that as well. Currently 6'2+ and about 215 and has been officially timed at 4.6 40 and HAND-timed 10.94 100.  So no slouch speed wise too.

Be interesting decision for him as I don't believe the offers are finished coming in. Penn State and Michigan were in last week😉

I've watched all three multiple times. NZ seemed to be shifty and fast with a bit of power. DA was even faster and shiftier. He had some power, but he didn't always need it because he was so much faster than everyone else. JK is an absolute brute. He's a workhorse who can carry his team on his back if needed. He's a bit slower than the other two, but can be just as shifty. All three were absolute gamebreakers in all three phases of the game. Comparing NZ and JK at the QB position, JK is a better passer. They are both pretty even as far as being running threats. I can't argue against NZ's rings though.
