Tough weekend last week for North Posey...schedule doesn't get any easier this week.

Thursday brings a home game against Pike Central, coming off a big win over B-R, in a big PAC match-up, before hosting top-5 in 4A Bloomington South on Saturday.

Last I checked the PAC was still #3 in the state with total wins vs losses records. Very impressive this far into the season.

Pike Central has really started to play some good basketball especially on the defensive end. We really need to shoot the ball much better and I expect North Posey to be a very tough match up for us. Also very pleased how Pike has responded after a brutal early schedule and still cannot believe Ft. Wayne Blackhawk is a 1A team. They looked like a college program.

Boonville had a nightmarish night in Lincoln City. They’ve been w/o starting guard Rylan Hicks for a few games. He has a cast on his wrist. Ross Kirkland injured an ankle during the week & was in street clothes.

Then, during warmups, their all-Area, USI-bound leading scorer Glen Rouch hobbled off the floor with a leg injury & was done for the night.

And if that wasn’t enough, guard Kenyon Bruner suffered an apparent knee injury 9 seconds into the game.

That’s 4 of their top 6 or 7 players down before anyone had broken a sweat. Never seen anything like it.
