Thanks for having me as a voter this year. It was a lot of fun. I want to do it again next year. Good luck to all the teams. Go Warriors!!!

Find it odd that Cass wasn't in the poll despite having beaten Lapel and Shenandoah

I wasn't voting in 2A, but being a fellow HC team, I suspect that the pair of shutout losses early in the season, albeit the first one being to Pioneer, took them off of the radar screen early.  That, coupled with the fact that Heights was winless when Cass beat them also probably also didn't help either.  Ultimately though, at 4-4, I think it's unlikely, even with those two wins, to have seen Cass ranked in 2A.  It's hard to break or stay in a Top 10 in Indiana with four losses unless you are Cathedral.

I agree with you.  Cass's schedule is not unlike LCC's or other HC teams.  The level of play is so high that a good team can end up .500 combine that with a brutal out of conference schedule and there you sit 5-4 going into the tournament.  One in which you are prepared for because the level of competition you have played has been excellent.

Cass was very good in the sectional v. Eastbrook.  Seems like a long time ago, don't remember the details.  But we had our hands full - couldn't do much of anything until pulling away late.
