Floyd Central x 2, Bedford NL x 2, New Albany and even Bloomington North were all also ranked when East played them. So seven out of thirteen games against ranked opponents. Strength of schedule this year better than usual.

I don’t believe Bloomington North was ever ranked. BUT, I will say it will be interesting to see a different team.

My prediction :

Columbus East - 49

Terre Haute North - 21

I have come to admire THN and THS programs.  The patriots have a band of brothers mentality . Every year they do their boot camp thing( http://www.mywabashvalley.com/sports/th-north-football-takes-break-from-gridiron/783872790 ). They aren't far from being a real good 5a program. They made semistate bout 5 years ago i remember and that 2014 ths team pushed bhss late in the forth and actually led for a few minutes before bhss added two scores late. Most people think they stink as football programs and hate the drive . For bloomington it is only 60 miles to play them one trip a year. Every handful of years or so they get a solid team deep into the playoffs . Never really a threat to get past semistate though. They may come in and do a few good things vs east but it wont be a close final score. 4 td's at the least.

I don’t think it will be a complete blowout. I think East wins by 3-4 TD’s.

Game Day!!! Safe travels to the Patriots and hoping for an injury free game for all! Look forward to seeing the crowd for THN tonight. It’s an honor to still be laying this late in the playoffs for both schools.

Can't imagine this one being close at all. Nothing against the Patriots, but playing on the road against the top offense in 5A won't bode well tonight.

52-14 Olympians.

I would say TH North is better than anyone in HHC, except East.  That being said, East wins 35-14.

Nope, they aren’t as good as Floyd or BNL. They are about equal to New Albany.

THN - 9

THN varsity scores on the East JV.

The game actually hasn’t even been as close as the score. The East O-Line has completely dominated this game

THN - 15

Another varsity score on the JV team.

THN calls a timeout with 11 seconds left to try and score... My god, Gaddis should have just put 80 on. Both teams announcers are having a field day with that stupid call.

49-18 Final... game wasn’t even that close.

The THN freshman team was in the game at this point. Cut them a break. Great game by the O's and congrats.  Good luck next weekend.
