NLC 2017 - Girls Basketball

Recommended Posts

Congrats to the Raiders on winning the 8 team Bankers Classic over the break...what a wild finish to the Lake Central/Northridge championship match though!

Also congrats to Senior Brooke McKinley on becoming the first 1000 point scorer in our Girls Basketball history.  Morgan Litwiller is leading the NLC in scoring at 17.1 ppg, while McKinley is 2nd in the NLC.

Today the Raiders host 16-0 Ft Wayne South.

Northridge beat Ft Wayne South yesterday afternoon, in pretty convincing fashion to my surprise.  Litwiller scored 26, and fellow Junior Ashley Beckler scored career high of 17 I believe.  We play at Warsaw on Saturday evening.  I'm going to try making the trip to the Tiger Den.

Any insight on the Tigers this year @NLCTigerFan07?

Also @Fairfield02, looks like with just 1 loss on the season (to the Raiders by a slim margin), Fairfield has the chance to run the table the rest of the year!  Congrats on a great season so far.

We'll see....we still have some tough teams to deal with.  We also can be very cold shooters at times.

Big NLC matchup tomorrow night between Northridge and Northwood.  Both teams are 4-0 in the NLC currently, so whoever wins should be favored to win the conference.  I like the Raiders odds tomorrow night, this years team is really starting to mesh at the right time of the year.  With only a couple of seniors on the teamit took a little longer than I'd hoped, but teams are really having a hard time with the two stars on the team.
