I cant help but to laugh. The irish d is out of gas hands on their hips and the whmb40 announcer says "i feel bad for them" . LOL These announcers are definitely pro irish . Muledriver tried to educate folks on the current Olympian program I think they are at their pinnacle.

You had East -21 right? Haha. Well deserved, Olympian’s superior in all facets of the game.

Hmmmm several wanted to scoff at my prediction.

Here at the facts at hand...

I saw more of East marching up and down the field against a very good but young BNL team twice and twice against a good Floyd Central team.

I saw both South play this season and Cathederal I had watched on TV.

I realize South improved as the season went on but they were a very average team this season.

Facts are the Facts this is a very good East team...

I had no dog in this fight, but after reading 5+ pages of comments,  I have one question,  has the line for the crow burgers started forming yet?

In all fairness it was a lot of the non-Cathedral crowd predicting an Irish blowout. Anyone who has seen Cathdral play this year knows their defense has been susceptible. Combine that with a couple early turnovers that East was able to convert on and the final score is what it is.

I have been wrong many times in my life. But this has to be a top 5! What the heck happened to the Irish. Congrats to East, certainly the beat $50 I ever lost.  Olympian06 and all of CE congrats.  Olympian PM me your home address.  Best of luck at State.

It was almost an entirely non-Irish crowd making that prediction, for the record.

I'd say that CE destroys anybody from the North...but I won't.  I like chicken...not so much crow.

CE is the clear favorite, though.

Columbus East - 42

Cathedral - 13

Final

CE with no turnovers, and the O-Line and D-Line started to dominate in the 2nd half.

Paypal donation of $50 just sent off on behalf of Olympian06.

Thanks RD... appreciate that.. sorry if I got a little heated this week. CE has changed their style of play starting in 2013 so a lot of people haven’t seen them since then.

This game reminded me a LOT of the game last year between CE and New Pal.  New Pal just didn't know what hit them....neither did Cathedral this year.

Some good cookin' going on in Columbus.

Congrats!

Edit.  For the record, I didn't see this either.  I just rarely pick games openly.  Incredible and really significant win by the Olympians.  Important in so many ways both for Columbus and other teams who have certain thresholds to cross. Monster, monster win.

Congrats!

Coach Miller (played in the NFL) took over I believe in 2011 or 2012. He was a lineman, and he has basically rebuilt that strength and conditioning program. It’s done wonders.
