Bobby Cox Rejoices - Success Factor in Full Bloom

I was surprisingly disappointed in the Kokomo crowd. I thought one school city, first ever State title game would bring a massive crowd. However, they had relatively few fans. Much less than our last two opponents brought to LOS, and I'm quite sure CE brought a lot more dispite having been there multiple times recently including last year and being the smaller of 2 public HS in Columbus.

That speaks to the fact that Kokomo has very little football heritage.  And also to the extreme weakness of 5A North football.  Combined with the overall weakness of 6A north, you could say that northern Indiana big school football is in steep decline, with The Region at the forefront of the decline.

Most not there were probably either working to support their families with no time or money to drive to Indy, or high on prescription pills.

Columbus is Eagleton to Kokomo's Pawnee.

Pawnee did give us Ron Swanson.

When I grow up, I want to be Ron Swanson.

Logan has a couple of former teammates that always swore I was Ron Swanson's long lost brother.
