Our coach teaches U.S. History. The head coach when I was a Freshman, Ted Huber, taught World History. My U.S. History teacher was the Hamilton County Democratic Chairman.

What year did he coach Heights? I remember him, and what do you think of the new Coach this year?

You find many Admins with coaching backgrounds, due to leadership qualities within that domain translates well to Principals/AP/Deans.    And wouldn't you know it, many of those people got started as PE teachers.   Shocking I know :17_v:

'70-'74

All the kids like the new Coach, he has been an assistant for a while.

Our current Principal was a football player, don't think he has ever coached or taught PE, but he was also a stunt man for my oldest daughter when she was a cheerleader back in the 90's.

a simple google search you would find this

Quote

Hamilton Heights Athletic Director Kurt Ogden said, “It has been a pleasure to work alongside a head coach who is as professional as Mitch. He’s a first-class individual who has worked extremely hard to continue the strong culture of winning with our football program over the past seven years at Hamilton Heights. He has developed some great football players but beyond that he’s developed kids who have gone on to be leaders themselves, which speaks volumes about Mitch as a positive role model. With a younger family and a desire to be more involved in their various activities, we totally understand Mitch’s desire to be a part of that. It only comes around once.”

Deans don't have easy cush jobs. They deal with discipline problems all day. I'm the son of a dean.
