Kokomo Open

Kokomo is going to miss Coach Colby.   One of the most underrated coaches in the state.  Solid success at Frankfort which is a very tough place to coach, and a state finalist at Kokomo.  Who was talking about the state finals at Kokomo before Colby showed up?   Congrats coach.

Kokomo and Mishawaka now open. Colby and Curtis leave some mighty big shoes to fill.

WOW.  All I can say is good luck Brett in your future travails.

He was always a fantastic coach to work with.  I only wish that I'd had MORE Kats games with him trolling the sidelines.

Wonder if the Kats will continue with the "4 men in a phone booth" offense set. That was fun to watch !!

Some interesting football notes from teams that Michigan City has ran into over the last couple of years.

-Valpo's football program's coaching mess.
-Kokomo's coach just resigned
-Mishawaka's coach just quit and took the job at Warsaw.

We use to scrimmage Kokomo when I was at FW South. Coach Colby was a class act and so were his kids. Good luck Coach!
