Well certainly Taylor and Delphi have some strides to make as they haven't made much noise in quite a few seasons. Oak Hill is a wildcard. Still I think with Coach Meeks at the helm and that unique offense you guys have perfected they will manage to at least make it to the sectional semis unless they face Eastbrook. Lewis Cass has me wondering what heights they may reach, I think they should be in the finals with Eastbrook if the draw shakes out right. But if Cass, Rochester, and Eastbrook end up on the same side that would make for a pretty wild sectiona.

I think I counted 94% of our offense output has been lost to graduation.

Cannot remember that much turnover in production in my 15 years on staff.

Lots of 1st time varsity players, so scrimmage will be huge tomorrow see how they handle 1st snaps.

Cass will be battle tested by time they get to Sectional 35:   Hoosier Conf EAST is loaded:   Western, Hamilton Heights Tipton, and Northwestern......  Then Crossover vs one of these schools:  West Lafayette, LCC, RCHS, Benton Central or Twin Lakes.

Is Mississinewa or Eastbrook the team to beat this year in the CIC?  Mississinewa is ranked #4 in 4A in the Football Digest Pre-Season Rankings while Eastbrook is #7 in 2A in the Digest Rankings.  Mississinewa has Skeens that is on the cover of Football Digest Magazine and one of the top 25 players in the State.  His cousin Cade Campbell is pre-season All-State.  Cade Campbell is very quick and strong despite his size.  His younger brother Carson is a Freshman and will probably see a lot of time in the backfield.  Carson may be even faster than Cade and their cousin Skeens.  Mississinewa still has some size on the line and combined with the speed they may be better than last year.

Eastbrook has lost some of their biggest offensive weapons but seem to reload every year so they shouldn't struggle in that area.  Eastbrook just signed a 4 year week 1 deal with Marion beginning next year.  Eastbrook is going to be solid as usual on both sides of the ball.

Marion is working on getting Mississinewa on the schedule for week 2 beginning next year as long as Mississinewa can get out of the New Haven contract.  Marion has to travel 1-2 hours for conference games so could this be a trial to see what the future is for the CIC?

Look for Ole Miss to come out on top of CIC this year, However I think #4 in 4A is too high top 10 maybe but not top 5. If Eastbrook and Cass do meet it would be very interesting. Sure like what they have going on over in Gas City and Eastbrook area. Curt has those river rats Funkified  and Coach Adamson just reloads year after year. Sure wish My Argylls could do the same. Really good athletic 6th grade on the horizon.

What are MG’s numbers like this year? Hated to hear of a coaching change so late. Hopefully they get it back going sooner than later.

Where was Blackford rumored to go? If they indeed left, was there any buzz as to who might join the conference to take their place or would we just lose a school and carry on?

Blackford is not going anywhere!

I wasn't able to make MG's scrimmage Friday night. If you were there what were your thoughts? Same schemes on O and D? Not sure with a new coach they had time to change.

On another note Who's going to do the CIC pick'em thread? And keep the CIC talk going each week? I do not always have computer access.
