Is this Wood Memorial?  Lack of players?  Anyone know the reason?

Sorry. Warren Central is taken already. The Warriors are playing Bowling Green High School of Kentucky.

They should allow JV teams from schools like Carmel and Penn to field 2nd varsity teams so they can fill schedules when these things happen.

What do you mean should? A school can field as many varsity teams as they want during the regular season. Only one team per school allowed for the tournament.

Jennings County wrestling has done this for several years. They will send teams to multiple V tournaments on any given weekend.

Mater dei’s JV wrestling team has won a few Varsity tournaments with up to 8 teams there.

Can you imagine what a carmel or Ben Davis jv football team could do in the 3a 4a tournament? They’d likely compete as a top 10 team.

Thank you for the enlightenment kind sir, but I meant it more in the vein of allowing these JV teams if not in THE tournament than an alternate tournament.

And you've made 3249 posts fella. Feel free to donate a Jackson every so often.

Its great that you encourage people to donate. I donate $50 each year instead of the $20 you suggested. I am a moderator so I am listed in the Referee class instead of the booster class.
