7th grade  -   Jasper 18    Heritage Hills 6
Very competitive game; Jasper with a pick 6 on last play of the game

8th grade  -   Jasper 28    Heritage Hills 0
Jasper scored on 2 pick 6's; HH undersized physically which has been a common theme so far this year facing Boonville, Southridge, and Jasper.  Showing a lot of heart just need to eat more Wheaties  :)

Only seen the middle school once so far and with the freshman playing 6 of 8 games at home I will be watching them most of the time. Will be at the middle school games on Sept 15th against Pike since the freshman game that night was canceled and I might watch the middle school on Oct 6th against Tell City instead of driving to Princeton for the freshman game.

From what I saw against Boonville looks like the 8th grade is still substantially smaller then their opponents. 7th grade has only given up 32 points in 3 games and over half of that was against Jasper so they are doing pretty good on defense just need to get the offense going 1 touchdown in 3 games makes in difficult on the defense.

Schedule should get easier now until week 9 VS. Gibson Southern starting season with Boonville, Southridge and Jasper is brutal even at that age.

Our current senior class went 1-6 in 7th grade and 4-4 in 8th grade  but the ones that stuck with it continued to get better every season you can expect the same from this  group.
