MIC Week #9

Recommended Posts

38-6 on the season…

Carmel @ Lawrence Central:  Hounds are still a bit of a mystery at this point and escaped Warren last week whereas LC took conference champion BD to the brink.  Hounds are ripe for the picking here.  I’ll take the Bears at home in what some might consider an upset.  LC wins a tight one 23-21.

Center Grove vs Cathedral (@ Butler):  Maybe not as punch pizazz around this one as the last couple of years but both teams remain amongst the state’s elite and one cannot rule out a state title run for either.  This one feels hard to call but I am gonna go with the Irish in a mild upset 27-24.

Christian Brothers (MO) at Warren Central:  CBC makes its second trek to central Indy where a wounded Warren squad awaits.  Warren’s defense remains  top notch but its offense just cannot maintain any sort of consistency.  CBC rolls here as Warren’s D eventually taps out.  CBC 34-14.

North Central @ Ben Davis:  NC’s best chance at a win went by the wayside last week against Pike and a nightmare awaits this Friday on the west side.  Giants could play their JV here.  They”ll roll 48-7.

Pike @ Lawrence North:  Step up in competition this week for the Red Devils as possibly the best 6A team no one is talking about awaits in LN.  Wildcats led at CG with 8 minutes to go last week before crumbling down the stretch.  They will remain focused this week:  LN wins 34-14.

What say you?
