My concerns are primarily centered on the quality, or lackthereof, of the roster.

IU has sent a boatload of running backs and linemen to the NFL over the past several seasons.

Roger Safford

Jason Spriggs

Dan Feeney

Darius Latham

Jordan Howard

Nate Sudfeld

Tevin Coleman

Devine Redding

This kind of talent got Indiana to a 6-6 record.

Who do we have to replace these guys?

The current IU running back depth chart is not even MAC level.  I havent seen a lineman on either side of the ball who is anywhere near NFL draft quality.

We always have great wide receivers, but how many have made it too the next level?

The roster quality droppoff is immense, and it happened overnite.

Scales on defense might be a low level draftee.  Cobbs is a nice player, but not sure if he can stay healthy.  Going to be a very rough 8 week stretch for this team.

Just like every other year, we are a poop team without these crap out of conference wins.

Fair enough but we can’t address those sentiments till after this season.

In the mean time, and my scarce free time, I choose to hope for the best.
