Something interesting to note when new two-year IHSAA football realignment comes out next week: With Elkhart Memorial and Elkhart Central consolidating in 2020-21, the new school will be a Class 6A program. That means Valparaiso will be 6A in 2019 and bump down to 5A in 2020.
