  2. Please do not tell me that this is the football forum, as I am already aware, but last night in little ol' Boonville, IN! Hoosier Hysteria is not completely dead! Bosse beat Heritage Hills 66-62 in front of 5,000+

  3. Well, that took a long time. Sorry, had to stop what I was doing and deal with other obligations. That said, welcome to the shiny new version 4.4 of Invision's software.

  8. http://www.sullivan-times.com/news/article/id/31128 Congrats to Brad Hudson! Brad was approved to be the next head football coach at NC ... Brad was a valuable member of my staff while I was at NC! He will do well for the TBirds!

  9. Or go back to a single class basketball tournament, like <insert your deity here> intended, but I digress.

  11. Cole Gilley - Columbus East Last year - 2463 yards passing 28 TD’s 5 INT’s. He’s also a D1 baseball recruit as well.

  12. Kiyron Powell from Bosse is a 6'9 Jr. forward with offers from Kansas State, Xavier, Georgetown, Evansville, and Miami (OH). Heritage Hills' Blake Sisley is a 6'8 Sophomore who has a large skill set and will command some pretty big offers eventually as well. There are are some other players on both rosters who are great high school basketball players in their own right, but those are the two biggest prospects!

  13. WHAT A GAME LAST NIGHT! Definitely lived up to the hype! Old school Indiana basketball crowd! Boonville has not seen this type of crowd in 20+ years. There had to be over 5,000 in attendance. Heritage Hills had a great season and both teams played at an extremely high level last night. Terrible to lose in the first round of the playoffs, but the Patriots have nothing to be ashamed of. I am sure there is not an individual in Santa Claus that could say a bad word about those kids! This match-up is only going to be better next year.

  14. As of right now Bremen has 2 options. Join the HNAC or stay in the NIC. What does the NIC look like going forward? What is happening with Clay? Now that Marian is in the North, how does that effect the schedule? It has been said that the gate receipts for sports are down comparative to when Bremen was in the NSC? Why? Many reasons, first dropping Plymouth, Valley has lost fan interest, Glenn has lost fan interest, Jimtown has lost fan interest. Bremen isn't without fault either, we aren't bringing the largest draw on the road anymore. Bremen needs to do an audit of everything athletic. Are they doing everything to provide the best opportunity for its athletes? This starts with the AD, is he a leader or a paper pusher? Are the coaches dedicated or are they seat fillers? Are parents on board? Are the athletes buying in? If they are not, why? Is the current conference the best option or are there other viable options? I hope they take a good hard look at everything from the top down, and don't make a change for the sake of change.

  16. Congrats to the Argyll's on their HUGE win over 2A #4 Tipton last night! I wasn't able to be at the game but listened to it on the radio. Most of MG's losses this year were 6 points or less, the game at Frankton was the only game that they were not in. Hats off to Cooper for playing the whole game, Brown picked it up in the second half, and Rudy was Rudy, will miss his hustle next year. The team D has improved as the year progressed. And you can't take anything away from the other starters or bench, Manwell or Howell have both lead this team in scoring at one time or another this year. This has been a fun team to watch this year! Yes they have been up and down, but they are a team that you can't take lightly. Good luck Argylls, see you Friday.

  17. For those old enough to remember "A Season On The Brink" we finally caught another fish. Probably too late for anything but the NIT. Just frustrating that this team can have the wins against top 25 teams and then put a losing streak together like they did. SMH

  18. Salem is looking for 2 more teams for July 13th Jamboree @ 2pm. Committed teams at this point are Salem and Charlestown. We need 2 more that can commit to a great day with a bunch of reps. Size of school does not matter. If interested contact RJ Hartsfield --- rhartsfield@salemschools.com

  19. If this passes since Mount Carmel only has to leave because of Illinois adding districts if the Big 8 was ok they could stay in the Big 8 if they wanted to because most of their football schedule will be filled with district opponents they might not need a conference for football. Personally I don't understand the football only thing if your going to do this just move GS and HH in the Big 8, Add Tecumseh back into the PAC and try to steal Perry Central from the PLAC to get the PAC back to 8 teams.

Conservative Christians Just Retook the United Methodist Church: https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2019/02/united-methodists-fracture-lgbt-plan-rejected/583693/ Talking to relatives and acquaintances of mine who are members of a UMC congregation this battle is far from over. And the question of "picking and choosing" what to believe, aka "interpret" from the a 2000 year old book and what to discard is always good for a laugh.

  23. https://www.nationalreview.com/2019/02/bernie-sanders-health-care-rhetoric-rights/ Agreed. A fantastic commentary. Health care can never be a "right". That is not how the world, or the American concept of freedom, works.

  24. Yeah, this story of SJW's run amok at Harvand illustrates that: http://reason.com/blog/2019/02/26/ronald-sullivan-harvey-weinstein-harvard Harvard administrators must be concerned about possibly losing some of that sweet liberal parent cash.
