  4. I’m a weekend hat wearer and have about 8 currently that I rotate thru. A nicely broken in hat is like a well worn pair of jeans for me, part of the “uniform” on Saturdays. I don’t think I have ever bought a hat, though, which explains why my wife won’t be seen with me when I am wearing some of them. (The neon yellow “corn” cap I got as a giveaway at the State Fair a few years back was one of her least favorites; it mysteriously disappeared from my closet a few weeks later....)

  5. You see Bob, it's not that I'm lazy, it's just that I don't care. Not a meme, but certainly meme worthy!

  6. Is that World Series wins being sucked into a black hole? This explains a lot to Cubs fans.

  7. I hope to be able to work with him on continuing to develop the youth program. Our youth league consists of Adams Central and Bellmont. I will say it has been an uphill battle for our league to get enough kids out for the Bellmont teams the last couple of years. Our league used to mix the kids together until we partnered with Coach Mosser and Coach Ballard. I can tell you that it isn't just football that Bellmont has had the number problem with either. Coach Ballard did a great job trying to get more youth players to play and was very accommodating in hopes to grow our league and respective programs. Hopefully Coach Davis can generate some enthusiasm and maybe change the culture in the community to match what we have at Adams Central and what South Adams has as well.

  8. As I have stated before, she and those of her ilk are merely the D's Tea Party. At least on the face of it early on, that seemed to be the case. What seems to be interesting is this group is they seem to be driving the party to the left. Many of the 147 D candidates for pres seem to be echoing a lot of their ideas. I also get a strong sense that VOC and some of her ilk are starting to annoy some of the D leadership, which ultimately could lead to their demise politically. Say what you want about Nancy Pelosi, but she still wields a lot of power. Moving into the 2020 race, I see a lot of jockeying for position with everyone trying to veer farther left and out left everyone else. They need to remember that Joe Sixpack voter is not the dude that elected VOC into office, you have to play to the masses in flyover country, the left is going to win in NY, CA, etc., areas where these leftist ideas play well, but those states don't determine national elections. Personally I think the left are setting themselves up to fail. They still don't understand why Trump is president, and continue to do everything in their power to see that he gets elected again.
