  1. Something else that all the testing and test prep has done. Along these lines, as part of our day Friday, we drove around the various neighborhoods, apartment complexes, motels/inns, and trailer parks where our students come from. One thing very noticeable late in the morning...there were MAYBE 3 kids that we saw playing outside. https://www.wsj.com/articles/to-really-learn-our-children-need-the-power-of-play-11565262002?fbclid=IwAR1vpVHQr2QtcqXdZFo63IhuQGnr--_oRaIRZPLTzK_5MzOB1FIhAd4usmU

  4. as an LC alum, I think it's a great idea. I guess attendance numbers will determine if it was or was not.

  5. So the battle for qb between #4 d.j. bull and #10 mason david. I believe Mason David started j . v. last season. However the scrimmage showed me anyways that bull completed more passes and was more of a threat on the ground. Davids passes were on target but the receivers dropped a lot more than the pther qb not sure why . David did have a long td pass but wasnt as effective as bull. They split time during the scrimmage. Im not sure if coach has one slated #1 at this time or not. But rotating series made me think that it is still up for grabs,

  6. Even though they ended my playing days, I do like to see them do well. We have ended their seasons more, so we were due. Be nice to see them and Heritage get back to the glory days.

  8. Being the main TW guy on the site, I would say it’s a good call to take it down for now. I know both families involved and it is tearing these communities apart (especially on Facebook). This could really go either way. For some reason, Tyler has really dug in and decided to fight these accusations. Most guilty teachers usually take a deal and walk away to avoid prolonged publicity. I must confess that it doesn’t look good, but he deserves due process. Ultimately, I think he will not be charged with a crime and will eventually resign. This is really not even a football issue anymore. Coaches have adjusted and the program has moved on. I am 99.99% sure he will not return to his coaching duties. Discussion on here only serves to worsen Tyler reputation further. Probably not something GID wants to be involved in. Now you will probably have to take this thread down. LOL!

  9. And the GID would be much the poorer for it.

  10. Maybe Muda should start up their own high school football web site so those threads can be openly discussed and presented?? Muda just needs to move on.

  11. Bottom line, it's not your sandbox. They don't have to justify anything.
