  3. Not denying their ability but you still need an O line now matter how good. Plus cant go back to getting 4 and 5 personal fouls a game like 2 years ago. Thats ultimately what done them in.

  4. After 3 seasons as the starting QB Eddie Schott graduated and moved on to Ball State so Southport will be breaking in a new QB this season in Sr. Ball State commit and former WR/TE Ryan Lezon... Southport has has one of the better QB situations around since 2013...Luke Johnston was a 3 year starter from ‘13-‘15 and Schott from '16-‘18... Will be interesting to see how Lezon dates at QB... He's a good athlete and he had some big games at WR last season

  5. My brain went totally awol on that comment about scheduling LC for scrimmages. South had stopped scheduling Center Grove for the preseason scrimmages because of the offense that they primarily used. I guess age is starting to creep up on me.

  8. Saints looked ok. It’s a good thing we had this scrimmage before the first game. Having said that, if this was a real game, they would have not run scripted plays. There was a lot of opportunity for big plays if we were using whole play book. Next week will be the real test to see where The Saints are at.

  11. After sitting in Carroll's visitors section last night I realized Dwengers visiting side is good enough! Same size as Carroll's, south side, Northside, and lures. If Dwenger didn't dump a bunch of money into Zollner over the last 35 years that visitors side would not be 2,500 seats either. Starting to say people are going to hate.

  12. The mid-80’s conference of Churubusco, Carroll, Leo, Woodlan, Heritage, Norwell, Southern Wells, and Adams Central. Those schools were all pretty similar at the time.

  13. He has no point other than being argumentative with me, apparently assuming I have some connection or affection for Seymour football.

  14. Saying Dwenger was chirping because they said they will see New Pal next year in Indy is a HUGE stretch. If Valpo or Michigan City or even North Side wanted to take issue with it, that’s one thing but if Dwenger in fact said they will see New Pal next year, they are saying New Pal is so good, they will be in the State Finals. It would have been a compliment. Nice try though.
