I'd like to know the inside source? This is pretty comical though, are they inside an asylum?3 points

Are we doing GID poll this year or with the server issues not going to have a chance? Was just curious. Didnt see sign ups. If we aren't is it something we may be able to do next year?2 points

Rodney, who is your source? Stevie Wonder? I can assure you, 100% of the people at Bishop Dwenger who understand football, believe New Pal will be extremely good. I have to believe you are not really a Dwenger fan and are trying to make our school look bad by saying things like this. It’s like saying, I heard from an inside source, Alabama won’t be any good this year.2 points

Dumbo (I’ll keep it clean but you are a DA) post of the year came early this season.2 points

Valpo has been a very good team for 20+ (maybe 30) in the top class. Problem is they had to beat Penn in years past. Will wait to see what happens, but I would bet 3 to 1 that the north semi will be Dwenger vs Valpo.2 points

Hamilton spent the first three seasons of his career with the Indians, then transferred to Andrean in order to finish out his prep career under 59ers coach Chris Skinner. “I’m excited,” Hamilton said. “There’s a lot of good guys here, and I feel like we can really make something out of this season. We just gotta keep working and fix the small things.” Entering his fourth year at the helm, Skinner didn’t want to put too much pressure on Hamilton and kept his play calling balanced. He opted to run on the first play of the game, but a few plays later Hamilton completed a couple passes and midway through the scrimmage he tossed the first of three touchdowns. Must be nice to get a senior transfer like that.1 point

I sometimes don't get to see it until the weekend also, although my preferred time is to begin watching the recording at 10:20 on the night it airs, that way I can fast forward through all the commercials and finish up right on time by 11. I always wait until after I've watched to look at this thread. I think you're right, I think it's Tate.1 point

I was just able to see the latest episode. Amazing where the time goes once school starts with the season in full swing. I like the buildup to the season finale. I have a sick feeling that Tate is Beck’s target.1 point

I guess it’s exciting there are now more Cathedral posters other than PHJ, WrestlingGuy, and myself.....yikes what a mess. I’ll admit I don’t follow the program as much as I used too, but a former teammate and friend who is on staff tells me the sophomore class is going to be special when it’s all said and done. As always with Cathedral, they play a loaded non-conference that should help come tourney time so long as they stay healthy which has proven costly more than once. Excited for the season to start.1 point

I am a huge fan of open enrollment. I don't know the specifics of this situation, but I have seen it earn boys and girls college scholarships. I've seen it work the other way too ... Warren Central - CG and the George family. The timing is quite convenient for all parties!1 point

No we keep it in thread to keep chatter going. Got moved once and it died. Any and all are welcome.1 point

Weber is building a program, Szabo tried to but the community didn’t let him. They have allowed Weber to be the strength and conditioning coach (weightlifting) Szabo wasn’t given that opportunity. They have now (after years go fighting to get it) gotten one middle school team and it’s already paying off. Well over 30 Freshmen out this year. BNL has been blessed to have two incredible coaches and better men to run the program.1 point

Cathedral all around looked fine, couple things to work on before playoffs obviously. All around better than last year. Wide Receiver core looked good too. how about New Pal1 point

Looks wonderful. The field is in violation of NFHS rules though. They require a shadow line wherever a logo covers up one of the 5-yard lines like the 50 in this picture. The reason is for measurements. We need something to use as reference for the clip when the chains are brought out. Fortunately you rarely ever have to measure on turf fields so it's a non-issue to most officials. If we measure we just need to make sure the ball is spotted outside the logo. Very few fields actually have this done.1 point

Also if anyone attended a scrimmage of a Big 8 school, please share your thoughts. Curious how Jasper looks in a new system...Princeton expects to be improved...Washington may be even worse.1 point

this is such a dumb statement man!!! The senior class now had maybe 2 kids who played as sophomres. Cannon and tex elliot is really all they had. The sophomore class now has starting LB, OL, WR, and 2-3 more kids who will see plenty of reps.1 point

cathedral starters only player 17 plays tonight and scored twice. Their defense played the same and held avon to 0 touchdowns. Great scrimmage all around. Go Irish1 point
