4 different high schools in 4 years if I am correct. I have to really respect those who work so hard in seeking out that perfect educational fit.........and never give up..............apparently.4 points

Although I really appreciate the glance into Rodney’s life, I find Class A games just as entertaining as the bigger classes. These kids lay it all out and fight like hell. In most cases, no D-1 scholarships will be awarded. They play for the love of the game, nothing better than that...3 points

Anyone know how Central did? Asking for a friend from the PAC. Heard they were killing it on offense. Hope we can get the Terre Haute South game tape. 🤷🏻♂️2 points

Gonna go out on a limb here: no one cares about contraction. Why? Because it simply will not happen. People seem to be more up in arms about end zone cameras...2 points

While I am not a supporter of anything the Kochs do or have done, I will never celebrate when someone passes. Any celebration will be reserved for a celebration of the life that has been lost, like family or close friends. But the celebration is toasting the great memories and stories to be told.2 points

Our starters played 19 plays. We marched down the field with vanilla stuff and the JV punched it in with no issue against Central. They had TWO big plays on our 1s including the first play of the game. Central played the 4 studs every play and on both sides of the ball. We played Freshman during the last two segments and then they put in their JV. Seems Hurley and Hart take the same approach to scrimmages (both 0-8 in their tenures) and I believe you guys are better than Castle. We also scrimmaged Castle in our team camp. If Castle is the third best team in the SIAC as some say (even though I don't agree)...I would really like our odds to be a top three team in the SIAC team just like every other year in the Hart era.2 points

It really stinks that the IHSAA Success Factor snatched this rivalry away from us.... The two complete each other.2 points

I know the scores have been pretty lopsided in recent years but I have nothing but respect for the Forest Park program. No matter what the score is their kids give it everything they have until the last play of the game and never anything dirty. A pure class program. I hope the new PAC structure will benefit you guys so you can contend for some small school PAC titles. Best of luck to the Rangers tonight and in the future.2 points

Happy Friday everyone!!! Should be a great night for football. Players, stay healthy and fans, use proper decorum. I know the latter all but rules me out, but I digress...2 points

Amazing how both the PAC thread and SIAC threads can quickly get derailed. Best of luck to the Titans and Tigers tonight. My biggest ? - with the running clock, will the beer in Fort Branch have proper amount of time to get cold? 😀2 points

Hart era 3-3 vs Memorial teams that had a combined 8 regular season wins in the 3 seasons. . Way to dominate 3 not very good teams on the other hand...Memorials 3 wins vs teams from GS that.....never mind.2 points

Also, Blackford @ Monroe Central - Bruins are back af, baby! Eastbrook @ Marion - James Blackmon and Zach Randolph dunk all over the visiting Panthers Lapel @ Elwood - Burgeoning community adjacent to I69 > town where my 30 year old peers still loiter in the Dairy Queen parking lot Madison-Grant @ Tipton - I've seen at least one person predict MG to beat Tipton at Tipton. I'm just gonna tell you, if that happens (it won't), I will personally drive the tractor hauling all 13 of the Argyll's fans Westbound down hwy 28 to paint that dumb rock black and gold. Ole Miss @ Pendleton - Completely guessing here. Is the Pancol kid still at Pendleton? Do CIC teams still play pass defense like an elderly woman wearing a VR headset? If so, RIP Indians. Oak Hill @ Eastern - Idk jack about either squad. Eastern is always bouncing between legitimacy and incompetence. Are this years Comets "Superbad" Jonah Hill or are they "21 Jump Street" Jonah Hill? Either way, Bud and the boys are left eating lunch by themselves like Steven Glansberg after this one. Tri-Central @ Frankton - I would just like to exclaim how proud I am of the Eagles for finally ditching a lowly athletic program with a small enrollment like APA in Week 1 in exchange for ... *checks notes*...Tri-Central? Since 2012 the Eagles have outscored their Week 1 opponent 336-40. NICE Wes-Del @ Alexandria - Another game I know nothing about. Alex has a solid Pizza King and the only thing I remember about Gaston is that they sold us overpriced kegs of beer when I was at Ball State. Advantage: Tigers2 points

Much akin to the NCAA tourney in basketball, I love a good upset. What if schools like Lawrence North (6A), Terre Haute South (5A), East Chicago Central (4A), Angola (3A), Benton Central (2A), and (dare I say it?) South Newton put together a Hickory Husker type of run and take all the marbles?1 point

I'm sort of unclear as to what the "big lie" is related to dual loyalty. Did not President Trump just say that American Jews who vote Democratic are being "disloyal" to Israel -- which, of course, he could only say if he thinks American Jews (should) have dual loyalties?! In any event, the term "Palestine" comes from the Greeks, and refers to the lands occupied by the Philistines -- who obviously are referenced in the Bible. While I am skeptical Jesus was of Philistine "heritage" -- that seems like the kind of thing his Jewish followers would have found sort of important to mention -- it is a bit disingenuous to say that Jesus couldn't have been a "Palestinian" simply because the Bible doesn't refer to "Palestine".1 point

I've seen a decrease in attendance in Fort Wayne over the years. Part of the blame is the ability to live stream any SAC game on the internet. Not sure what the entire problem is.1 point

I too used to pick the argylls with my heart. Based on your user name you are to young to have a kid on the team therefor your a coach or the father of a coach. Either way I hope you are right but a bad offensive scheme (wing T) and players still in not their best for the team positions. Also lost a ton of tackles to graduating senior(s). However I genuinely hope I am wrong and The new coach make a turn around for the team and town. If there is an upside Rob Vetor is possibly the most underrated football coach ever to coach out there. Arguably top three to coach there and so far only 1 of my top 3 has been a head coach. However to soon to rate coach turner. Rob has a great offensive and defensive mind and sees the little things to make in game adjustments. Now it’s a matter of how much he will be listened to or if ego will not let him be heard. In conclusion I wish MG the best and I love coach Turners concept of “All In” because it takes everyone from the coaches and players the A.D. school administrators and the community to make a successful team.1 point

You guys did better against us defensively then anybody that year i do believe, i think we had over 300 yds which is still really good, but far below the 429 yds we averaged, maybe the 1st game of the year against Ritter, our biggest rival because we came out flat. Heck of a team you had in 2015 as well!1 point

In short, the 40 second clock is awesome and if you don't like it you're wrong!.....just kidding, but in my opinion the 40 second clock has proved to be a better option and no one is worse for wear. I'm glad it's the standard now. To go back would almost feel like regression.1 point

I coach middle school football. Our middle school has about 330 kids give or take. I have 42 kids combined on the two teams (7th and 8th grade). For simplicity's sake, lets assume half the 330 are boys (165), That means I have about 25% of the male population playing football for me.1 point
