  3. Stinky, Stink, Stink 1.2.3 The Regional comes to the "PIT" not the Jungle, that's where we party! Our Turf is regulation, no clue where phart got that maybe he hit too many Tiger BL's in the Jungle and mixed up his facts. Get ready to play in one of the best venues in the state and if you don't like the game, you can head to Connies where you can get a dance and maybe even a date?????? The visitor stands are small, so get there early do not stall. We want you to take in the Seagrams, KFC & Connies smell we got it all. Don't know much about the Cutler Hillbillies, but hear they got a squad Let Stink be the first to welcome you, cause Saturday I will be bombed. Dave sorry coming back to Stink Town stirs those emotions. Come to the Jungle, have a Tiger BL on us! Tango, the Yoon you are talking about is a Senior! One of the best WR's in the state. His numbers are low as he was out half the season. His family opened up a new cleaning company called Yoon's Rub and he had to help with that. Little Yoon his brother, 10th grader is a machine! He can flip the switch. Y2 Squared is a deadly duo. This should be a great game with two great programs! Stink would lay a weeks worth of Tiger BL's on whoever wins this game will get the honor of taking on the Chatard Catholics in the "Can" Thanksgiving weekend, just an early Sunday morning prediction before I get too many BL's in me. Let the fun begin, hope to have some fun on here this week!

  4. King, Your a good dude (strongly disagree with Temptation on this) but your quote in “Top 15 Regardless of Class (Mid-Season)” on September 24 was: ”Pains me to do it but I think you guys have a great team and were probably the better team in defeat a few weeks ago. Outside a blown coverage on 3rd and 22 that resulted in an 88 yard TD pass then another long run to seal the game (2 plays accounted for more than half of Cathedral’s output for the game), you guys dominated the LOS despite being outweighed 40-50 lbs a man. Was the only time this year I’ve seen Cathedral struggle to move the ball and that’s with playing X and Elder on the road where the Irish moved the ball at will.” Those were your words then....arguably, they might not be mutually exclusive from your most recent comments BUT they certainly have a different tone and would seem a recasting of the game. I left that game thinking the same as your comments on September 23. Now, some (hopefully not you....hopefully) are trying to TOTALLY recast that game. Still, a loss is a loss. I’m accepting of that, but I am not cool with how that game actually played out being rewritten by some lunatic Troll. I am not saying that Calpreps/MaxPreps and Sagarin are the be all and end all but they are probably better than the Cathedral Troll you seem to be lining up beside. Right now (11/10/19), CALPREPS has the top 10 ALL CLASSES in Indiana as the following: 1. Cathedral (#73 Nationally) 2. Chatard (#103 Nationally) 3. Avon (#126 Nationally) 4. New Palestine (#159 Nationally) 5. Carmel (#167 Nationally) Cathedral’s biggest win against a nationally ranked team this years wasn’t Trinity (#153 Nationally) or Center Grove (#316 Nationally). It was against #103 Chatard. It was a close hard fought game. There is one thing it ABSOLUTELY wasn’t - a dominating win by Cathedral. Just the opposite. If New Pal wins then my guess is CalPreps is in for a big shake up and no doubt New Pal will vault to No. 1 in Indiana. Right now, SAGARIN has the Top 10 ALL CLASSES in Indiana as the following : 1. Avon 102.92 2. Brownsburg 100.84 3. Carmel 100.48 4. Bishop Chatard 98.17 (No. 4 Predictor as well) 5. Warren Central 97.45 6. New Palestine 96.41 7. Indianapolis Cathedral 96.38 8. Center Grove 96.05 9. Ben Davis 95.71 10. HSE 94.62 All these teams are within a hair of one another. Anybody wins on any given day. It’s tiresome for me (and really EVERYBODY) to hear Cathedral chest thumping.....not that the rest of us are unused to it. Again, not necessarily accusing you of it but it seems to feel that you are going that way. If one of the few reasonable folks from Cathedral is good with a troll in your midst, then the idiots will take over on this thread. Not that I care that much....it’s your guys thread. Still, some advice, if people are going to talk about this upcoming game realistically then it would be best if history is not rewritten regarding prior games.

  11. Danville (7-5) at Vincennes Lincoln (8-4) GAME TIME: 7 pm ET, Inman Field. COACHES: K.C. Woods, 36-14 in 4th year at Danville. Levi Salters, 25-9 in 3rd year at Vincennes. SAGARIN RATINGS: Danville, 62.26, 82nd overall, 13th in 3A. Vincennes, 43.48, 159th overall, 33rd in 3A. LAST OUTING: Danville defeated Indianapolis Ritter, 34-17. Vincennes defeated Princeton, 34-21. OPPONENTS' RECORDS: Danville 71-59. Vincennes 53-65. SERIES LAST 35 YEARS: No meetings. jh PREDICTION: Danville, 31-17. First ever meeting between these teams. Other than briefly watching some film of their game at Tri West two weeks ago, I know very little about the Warriors. Seems they’re pretty similar offensively to Lincoln, primarily sticking to a Spread. #6 RB/DB Schubert stood out to me as a force on both sides of the ball, and he had a monster game on the stat sheet against Ritter. They run what looks to be a 3-5 defense which is close to what Lincoln saw Friday at Princeton. And obviously, I’m aware they’re an established program with a lot of recent success. It’s a tall order for the Alices for sure. Lincoln absolutely cannot repeat last Friday’s first half if they hope to have a shot at victory.

  19. Trust me I get it, it’s football, and high school football at that. But you can’t apply, “Chatard blows out Cathedral if they don’t turn it over 3 times” as Dmizers stated while completely not acknowledging that Cathedral botched 3 red zone attempts in the first half. That’s football and all elements of the game. Cathedral won, Chatard put up a hell of a fight, and both are excellent football teams.

  23. That game was a LOT closer than it should have been. Soooooo many missed opportunities on both sides of the ball. Missed sacks, missed picks, especially ones to ice the game. And then, points on the board, like at the end of the 1st half. I guess a bit of karma there though, with McCoy making a play to keep them out of the end zone. A win is a win, and the Saints lose today as well. Focus is on the conference race as I think the division is a lock at this point.

  24. My post wasn’t meant to disparage Chatard, it was meant to defend this notion that Cathedral was lucky to beat Chatard if it weren’t for Chatard’s turnovers as stated by Dmizers. You could also very easily make that case that Cathedral wins going away had they executed in the red zone. I still stand by what I posted earlier in September; it was a very hard fought game between the two north side Catholics.

  25. Just a quick close out. Kyle Adams is the real deal. I’ve certainly not seen every QB in Indiana HS football this year but I have seen more than a few...and its hard for me to imagine there are many better ones. I was shocked to find out he actually passed for over 300 yards since it seemed he had the ball so few times. Karlaftis showed up prominently on offense but didn’t seem to be as dominating a presence on defense as expected. Fairly certain that had to do with Chatard’s game plan of just pounding it up the middle rather than work the edges where Karlaftis prowled. Honestly feel like the Chatard staff should send Tom Dilley and company a “thank you” for showing them a winning game plan. It seemed as if Chatard took Guerin’s game plan and never waivered. 430 yards rushing with maintaining possession 75% of the game time. Only 6 passes all night by Chatard (which normally throws about 50% of the time). As exceptional as Taylor and his backfield compatriots are (and he is exceptional) this game emphasized a long standing point of pride about Chatard. It is a school for lineman. Lots of great players have come through Chatard over the years but there have been a lot more linemen playing on Saturdays and a few on Sundays. Chatard is long known for the linemen it produces (especially O lineman) and this game was, frankly, a showcase for them. Congrats to West Lafayette on a great season....that said, I still think it’s ridiculous that these teams all got loaded into the same Sectional. I really feel like WL, Guerin and Brebeuf should all still be practicing.

  27. The team I support doesn’t play at the H.S. level. They are doing just fine. No offense but you’ve really ripped into sone 16, 17, and 18 year olds calling some out by name. I can see where their parents would be upset. My suggestion support the team you root for, keep in mind they are teenagers playing at will make some mistakes along the way. Don’t stop supporting them because ultimately they are learning the game of football! Then you don’t have to retract! and @IndplsCathedral_Dad I appreciate you and your honesty! I wish you and your son the best!! Mean that from the bottom of my heart! You are a great dad! Same goes for you @CaptainHook!! I wish you both the best of luck! Unfortunately this game has to come from a regional but would be a great State Championship game!!

  29. Stinky, Stink, Stink 1.2.3. that is 6:00 Stink Town Time so that leaves me plenty time to drink. The Jungle will be crazy with Tiger BL's if any of the Patriots want to join just come on down! Lets get some facts rolling. Had time in the shop today to do some research, not too many oil changes today..... QB Match-up?? This seems to be in the Tigers favor. Stink will throw this out there. Is this the best dual threat QB the Cutler Cuties have faced? Please don't say the cat from Gibson Southern.....He is a dude, but just a pocket QB? Yoon has that Zoom, Zoom speed almost like what I am hearing about your kid? Stink Town may need to go back downtown to get some more stray cats to chase this week. Had a Stink Town Coach tell me today while drinking a few Tiger BL's he can scoot? Hog Boys?? Don't know much about that line of the Patriots, but stats show they must like to run the ball so those hogs must like to eat. The Stink Town line can move! Heck if both teams run the ball, this could be the shortest game in awhile for Stinik Town. Pretty Boys?? The WR's - No discussion, Stink Town wins this one. Stink has dudes the remind me of Ocho Cinco & Randy Moss.....They make plays. They dance, they got swag! Get'er Done RB's - This topic could be interesting...Stats show those Cuties have a dude in Phoenix??? Stink Town has a dude by the name of Burd (who flies like an Eagle) Coach did tell me, two different types of backs. Should be a good one! Let's get this rolling then we can talk about the side that wins championships..... Also does anyone know what time those Patriots plan to arrive? They coming in some nice Yellow Hounds or going all out for some Charters. I hear they are old school, time will tell. Yellow Hounds for life!

  31. Chatard / Cathedral game was a very good game and you trying to make it more or less while sitting in your mom's basement is hilarious. Both programs are having a great year. That game could have gone a lot of different ways, but at the end, Cathedral won. Props. Both schools could be at LOS in a few weeks, who knows. I have to admit that I wasn't sold on Cathedral at the beginning of the year, but they have athletes with tons of speed which covers for some of the fundamental flaws and execution. I think the New Pal game will be incredible and I really could see either team winning. New Pal will grind it and if they can stop the big plays, then I like their chances to win based on consistency of play. However, a couple of big plays by the Irish changes everything, so it will be a contest for sure. This time of year makes for some fun Friday nights!

  34. The field has never been less than regulation size, I have no idea where you got that idea. The visitors side stands are in fact limited. "Get there early" is a good piece of advice. If you don't get there early and find parking to be a problem, you can easily park on Walnut Street which is across US 50 from the high school. (There are tunnels under US 50 so you won't have to play Frogger with your life on the highway.) Parking over there really isn't any more inconvenient than parking behind the school which is where you will likely end up otherwise. If you come into town early and are looking for something to do you can hit the casino, new sportsbook, or one of many dining options on property. If you are looking for a decent restaurant Whiskey's is a favorite for the locals. Strong's Pizzeria is also fairly popular and offers brick oven pizza just a block or so from the riverfront. Both establishments are just a couple minutes from Neary Field at Dick Meador Stadium (aka The Pit).

  39. This is the game of the week in 2A in my opinion. HC looks to be playing well, but it’s hard to bet against WB and #7. He’s the biggest reason that my Eastbrook Panthers lost in the state finals last season! Very good player and team!

  40. Not exactly. It’s true the NCAA and NFL rule that allows you to throw the ball away when you’re outside the tackle box does not exist in high school. But intentional grounding occurs only when the pass is purposely incompleted to save loss of yardage or conserve time. If there’s no one open, and the QB just decides to give up on the play and just throw it away, it’s not a foul if he’s not under duress while doing so.

  43. But the HCC didn't? 🤔 So is your argument that since Carmel beat HSE and Westfield, while CG beat FC that proves that the MIC is dominant over the HCC? We just completely ignore regular season matchups? That's convenient!
