  1. I've never seen someone want others to fail so much in my life.

  2. Who here has said the world is fair? What's wrong with wishing people success? Why do you continually want to manipulate people's words?

  3. Clearly not the point of his post. Life is not a zero sum game. Success is defined differently by pretty much everyone.

  6. Life is pretty unfulfilling if it's all about winning/losing. It's about the journey. Been in "losses" before in my life where there was plenty to learn and grow. Consequently, I've been in many "wins" that weren't much more than one number on one side of the scoreboard being bigger than the other. Like @Gipper said, "Life is better when we're all successful." When I was a center director back in the day, I had a piece of art in my office that was captioned, "There's no better exercise for the heart than reaching out and lifting people up."

  8. 2001 South 4A Semi-State Jasper vs. Cathedral Jasper was down 21-7 with about 10 minutes to go and came back to win 27-21 in regulation. Cathedral had fumbles on back to back possessions then had a 3 and out to give us a chance.

  9. You don't know what "anecdotal" means, do you? Here's what the CDC says ... https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/hcp/therapeutic-options.html Due to higher in-vitro activity against SARS-CoV-2 and its wider availability in the United States compared with chloroquine, hydroxychloroquine has been administered to hospitalized COVID-19 patients on an uncontrolled basis in multiple countries, including in the United States. One small study reported that hydroxychloroquine alone or in combination with azithromycin reduced detection of SARS-CoV-2 RNA in upper respiratory tract specimens compared with a non-randomized control group but did not assess clinical benefit [7]. Hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin are associated with QT prolongation and caution is advised when considering these drugs in patients with chronic medical conditions (e.g. renal failure, hepatic disease) or who are receiving medications that might interact to cause arrythmias. Hydroxychloroquine is currently under investigation in clinical trials for pre-exposure or post-exposure prophylaxis of SARS-CoV-2 infection, and treatment of patients with mild, moderate, and severe COVID-19. In the United States, several clinical trials of hydroxychloroquine for prophylaxis or treatment of SARS-CoV-2 infection are planned or will be enrolling soon. More information on trials can be found at: https://clinicaltrials.gov/external icon. There are no currently available data from Randomized Clinical Trials (RCTs) to inform clinical guidance on the use, dosing, or duration of hydroxychloroquine for prophylaxis or treatment of SARS-CoV-2 infection. Although optimal dosing and duration of hydroxychloroquine for treatment of COVID-19 are unknown, some U.S. clinicians have reported anecdotally different hydroxychloroquine dosing such as: 400mg BID on day one, then daily for 5 days; 400 mg BID on day one, then 200mg BID for 4 days; 600 mg BID on day one, then 400mg daily on days 2-5. Heard it's best if you take it with "kool-aid."

  10. Reporter: "Dr. Fauci, it was explained yesterday there has been promise with hydroxy-chloroquine, this potential therapy for people who are infected with coronavirus. Is there any evidence to suggest that, as with malaria, it might be used as a prophylaxis against COVID-19?" Fauci: "The answer is no. And the evidence that you’re talking about, John, is anecdotal evidence. So, as the commissioner of FDA and the president mentioned yesterday, we’re trying to strike a balance between making something with a potential of an effect to the American people available, at the same time that we do it, under the auspices of a protocol that would give us information to determine if it’s truly safe and truly effective. But the information that you’re referring to specifically is anecdotal. It was not done in a controlled, clinical trial. So, you really can’t make any definitive statement about it."

  13. The world isn’t fair. So what? It was here first and doesn’t have to be. I wish IO, Dante, Coach Hanson, Robert, and everyone else success! I’d rather be positively annoying than destructively negative as that has already been taken be a couple of posters in this free speech vehicle.

  17. Your logic as far as a spectator makes sense but I still really think that every school should should deserve the opportunity to compete no matter what their talent is. Imagine a school that is 0-9 that has 1 division 1 athlete and 1 d3 athlete coming up, they could easily be 3-6 the next season or a 4-5 team. I enjoy the conversation but there is always going to be someone on the bottom.

  18. This is being overblown by social media. I think taking these precautions are a good idea, but lets not go overboard. The first influenza pandemic was recorded in 1580, and since then, influenza pandemics occurred every 10 to 30 years. When all is said and down, probably mid summer, it will probably be similar to the swine flu. This pandemic killed around half a million people worldwide. It caused about 12,000 deaths in the United States. I don't recall all these precautions in 2009 with Obama. In fact, the media barely covered this.

  19. Your snarky attitude gets really annoying(bolded). Stop quoting me. I do not care for your opinion (see the underlined). Telling me that I have an agenda is quite honestly absurd. Again.. stop quoting me.

  20. Mud and muck should be part of the Indiana H.S. football experience. Random elements such as field conditions give the game character, and force coaches and players to adapt to the elements. With every single football field in Indiana going to artificial turf, part of your agenda IIRC, that random element is removed. And the game overall suffers.

  22. Hydroxychloroquine has been approved by the FDA. Medical doctors are permitted to prescribe the medication. Period. Does anyone actually believe that medical doctors throughout the globe give a damn what a couple of libtards think on a high school football forum in Indiana?

  28. That is the obvious and logical implication from the blanket and utopian statement "Life is better when we’re all successful." Whoever accused me of not wishing people success? I'm not. Has the business you currently own contracted due to the coronavirus scare?
