I ran out of chances for "Thanks" votes.

    What happened at Pike?

Exactly. A school that has four 1st Round NBA draft picks in the last 20 years should just give up on football and put all their money into a sport they can win at.

I know right. Imagine if EC had to play Rushville this year when they were up. Baaaad baaaad things man, baaad things.

Agreed, could still create a single conference. Both teams go undefeated then they're Co-Champs.

We're good and point taken. I think a lot of schools these days are stuck in trying to hire coaches when they don't have any teaching jobs. I believe that to be a big factor in not getting the guy they want. You'd be more in the know than the rest of us. Why aren't they playing football? Is it just that they're losing or are there deeper issues?

Aren't you the guy who also says that schools need to start giving chances to upcoming coaches? Upcoming coaches don't just step into MIC jobs all of the time, they have to start somewhere.

Gibson Southern did nothing before Coach Hart arrived and since his arrival have been a consistent team to talk about in 3A, according to John Harrell he had no head coaching experience prior. They even have a turf field now I would say in large part to his success.

In other EIAC news. The DOE enrollments that are listed on this website have Franklin County dropping to 3A during the next cycle. I have talked with some people in Brookville who saw this coming and it appears that it will be for the foreseeable future. What does this do with the current conference layout? Does the 3A Division become 5 teams while the 4A Division becomes 3? Or since there is only two schools that don't play one another do the Athletic Directors and Principals use common sense and create a single conference with one champion again?

Different school, different situation? Go walk back into Connie's and have another drink and another dance, you put up Crouching Tiger and Hidden Dragon to take the job?

Young, Experienced Head Coach History with the program as a player Currently not coaching anywhere If the powers that be were looking for a young guy with experience to lead the program for the foreseeable future it seems like a good fit to me, if he even wants the job?
