I'd disagree with the statement that this year's Winamac team is battle tested. I think current year experience is more important that total career experience with how much things change from season to season. I just don't think Winamac has played any valid opponents this season to date. I think Winamac did luck out with Judson not playing last week. Yes Judson got to rest up, but missing a week of live action can make you rusty quick.
Quality of games over quantity is key.

Delphi (7-3) at Pioneer (8-2)
Bremen (7-3) at LaVille (7-2)
Bremen gets revenge on the loss earlier this season and sets up a repeat of last years sectional championship against Pioneer back at home.

Eerily quiet, where are the Winamac and NJ fans??
I anticipate neither fanbase wants the other to have much bulletin board material. Winner of this game gets a 2nd win on the season over a team with a record over .500.

Thanks.
I've been lurking for a few years and now I have an 8th grade son and 7th grade nephew...decided to finally make a screen name.
Welcome to the HNAC crew, glad to see a new face.

Who cares? If you put 8 of the worst teams in the class in one sectional and they all have exactly 12.5% chance to win it, that doesn't make the sectional relevant. Competitive, perhaps, but not relevant. The other sectionals have at least one top-ten ranked team, if not two. As I stated earlier, it would be a tremendous upset for whoever wins 34 to advance further which is what makes it irrelevant.
A tremendous upset, yes. Unprecedented, no.

You have to congratulate SN on the turn-around this year. Any chance they make it to see Winamac/Judson in the final?

Pioneer 5-2 - A strange year in Royal Center. This team isn't nearly as solid as Pioneer teams the last 10+ years have been. But Pioneer losing a step just brings them back down closer to the rest of the field. Still among the best, just not head-and-shoulders above everyone else. I don't think Pioneer's D is good enough to stop the Blue Jays. Triton ran for 134 against them. NJ will go for 200+.
So with Triton's 134 yards producing 6 points, do you anticipate NJ's 200+ to produce 12-14?

I'd have to agree, I just don't see any way the Panthers can contain this high flying Luers offense. If you look at what Luers has been doing to all of the 2A teams they've faced, I'd say they are the clear favorite.
Pioneers highest points against this season is the 32 that New Haven hung on them, also their only loss. I haven't seen much of Luers offense but if they compare at all to NH the Pioneer offense will need to be ready on call.
