  1. After watching the replay, this all makes sense...
  2. Conditioning def will play a heavy roll, and which team can run the ball effectively on 1st & 2nd down...I think this game also sets the tone for confidence playing down the road
  3. This should be a good one, what is weather like over in Indianapolis area...Will it be a factor?
  4. This LaSalle team is athletic, but doesn't appear to tackle as well as teams in the past...If our D-Line is aggressive and dominates the LOS we should have the advantage...Road game, long travel, later start for them (time difference) are all a plus for the home-team...I hope we are able to sub players in and stay fresh/in attack mode
  5. Not sure if this has been shared…I was told this is a broadcast of game. https://www.bcsc.tv/live-ihsaa-tv
  6. I would like to see the O-Line & D-Line impose their will in this game and control the LOS, clean 2+ quarters (few penalties), and fresh legs by all who touch the field!
  7. Does Jeff have a strong Sr Class? I did see some of their scrimmage vs Pike...
  8. I will prob come down to run-defense (or "O" and D-line play)...Turnovers will equal extra possessions and points! Should be a hostile home crowd as well...
  9. Agreed, and don't get me wrong, I understand the importance of Sectional/Regional/Semi-State/State Titles & the High School sports programs (all sports), I just hate how AAU/Travel Ball/Club Ball has taken away from the High School programs all over (especially Indiana) just because of the National/Collegiate-experience/exposure...I fear that athletes will soon steer clear of High School athletics for fear of injury and lack of exposure they can get from AAU/Club/Travel Ball, which is where a lot of kids get Regional & National looks from Coaches/Schools.
  10. Don’t need to poll them, been there and done that, lived it...At some places it’s an expectation...”If it happens, all well and good “ is IHSAA talk...In my opinion it’s not looking at the bigger picture
  11. Agreed, I was also trying to figure out what the “real prize” is (quoted previously), I think for both programs, the “real prize” is actually a yearly expectation...The ultimate prize should be putting Indiana Football on the map, comparable to the top programs in the Midwest/Country...
  12. Agreed...I think this is what clouds the thought process with football fans, and thinking when comparing athletics' in the state of Indiana...Yes, the State Championship in all sports is the team recognized goal throughout the state, but National Recognition is the ultimate goal...Center Grove, Cathedral, and other great programs should have the opportunity to play other schools, from other states, regardless of distance (if the particulars can be worked out) in order to boost our great state athletic programs...When I think of all the great INDIANA Football, Baseball, Basketball, (any other sports) programs that have come-n-gone, I wish they could see where they stack up and play the best there is out there...The Herbstreit Classic was great for Cathedral, not belonging to a conference, and being locked into games has helped, and the mindset of National recognition has helped. If Indian sports wishes to keep up with AAU/Club Sports programs, they better figure out how to figure it out, and help support schools who cant $fund$ it...MyHumbleOpinion
  13. Does Indian HS Association still have the 300 mile rule for travel (all sports), if so...why???
  14. Agreed, they look good on film and are well coached...Penalties and turnovers should decide this one.
  15. Run game should a big factor in this one, also who gets ahead first and creates tempo/pressure and makes the other team do things it’s not accustomed to may dictate...
  16. Is there a link, only found their FB page with no link posted that I could find...Thanks in advance for your assistance
