They lost a QB/WR/S otherwise they had a bunch of juniors starting. And crown point is still overhyped. What have they done? They went undefeated and still couldn’t win a sectional. And that will repeat this year. God my kid plays for lake central. I know we will be okay but we aren’t gonna be a state contender. But you gotta play talented teams in scrimmages to test yourself. Valpo hasn’t scrimmaged anyone that actually has talent. I have no idea who merrillville has scrimmaged. I know they went to same camp at wabash? And I know they play my nephew next weekend when they scrimmage elkhart. But to say Valpo is head and shoulders the leader is a farce. you all do realize merrillville going for the TD in 1st half instead of the FG lost the game? That made FG wins the game. 🤷🏾‍♂️ Valpo controlled the 2nd half. But merrillville dominated the first. The game can been seen if you go back and watch it. Valpo won the game thays great. And who ever won that game was taking state. Just like this year who ever faces merrillville in the regional that’s the state title game. Truthfully I believe Michigan city takes Valpo out this year..

Family, family is pulling him away from city. As I have stated before been to every game for 20 years. My youngest played for him was team captain and loves the man. Im sorry as my son and I were laughing at this 10 sectionals 6 regionals and 2 semi states along with a state championship. Did you watch Trey Simmons tonight for the North. Giovanti Laurent was a captain. Man I wonder what if City would have had a Michigan lineman and a ND receiver from Hammond walk in the door. Ask Braden Fiske who will be drafted next year what the change at City has done. I watched a City LaPorte Sectional championship at a sold out Ames. City won 31-10 fist time in History! I watched City take the Mighty Homewood Flossmoor Vikings to the final play of overtime OMG if the DE makes the play. I watched a 5'7 QB play like he was 10 feet tall. I think maybe somebody is well wishing maybe City was 4A Oh watched City scrimmage a real big physical Elkhart team. Very Impressive Go Wolves we dont brag and talk crap we just work to get there !

Coach Mason is 4 and 3 vs Merrillville while at Andrean . 3 and 2 vs Merrillville while at Michigan City, I think in 2018 We had a running clock in the second half,

My son was a 2 year starter and captain. He loves coach. Wish my other 2 boys could have played for him. The culture in the program is awesome. The program is year round from weights to study tables and character building. Coach Mason has the total support of the administration and the board. I know he was thinking about retirement and several parents ask him to stay. Not sure Bush and Hart would be there without him. This years team will be young. Guess there will always be haters and doubters. There is no pressure on him other than what he puts on himself.
