    New Pal 84 Delta 13

That was a helluva game. We actually wore you guys down in the 4th. But you're right, you guys would have rolled New Prairie as well. The '13 game still stings for me when you guys just whipped us from the word go.

I'd agree with that. Mostly due to the defense. This team is more balanced on offense and runs it much better. And there's just no comparison defensively. This team is comparable to the '14 team defensively.

Not arguing how bad the HHC is, I know its awful. But it's not a thesis, its fact. In 15 the starters played significantly more in the regular season, that team had alot more 2 way players than this team does and this team is much more disciplined on defense.

Well I've never said 35. And having seen every game NP has played since 2011 I can say unequivocally this years team is vastly different than 2015. You can trot out all the stats you want. The 15 team wasn't very good defensively and that proved costly against a very talented Snider team.

So a game from 3 years ago in high school is relevant now? That NP team that faced Snider wasn't very good defensively and not anywhere close to as talented as this years team. And I'd say Coach Ralph knows what he's doing as well. And if MC is "sending kids to D1 fairly regularly " as you say why was last year their first trip out of sectionals and only their 2nd winning season in a decade? Doesn't say much for the coaches does it? I'll say this, if NP plays well I'd be shocked if they didn't win by at least 2 TDs.

MC hasn't seen the likes of NP either. I'd say the step up in competition game each played is fairly equivalent. Main difference being NP won theirs. Personally I think Zionsville is a bigger hurdle but hopefully we'll get the chance to find out.

Look I'm probably the biggest NP homer on here and in 1 game I'd take them over everyone in the state except WC. I'd say both teams at their best and WC is 20 points better. Too much depth, size, athleticism, you name it.

Agree, but also this year's team is much better than the 2015 team. That team was fairly average and a little slow on defense and it caught up to them in the title game. Not saying this team will roll to the title but if the play to their capabilities they should.

Not that I put everything in CalPreps but New Pal would be favored over everyone in Indiana except Warren Central. And let's not get over the top with hyperbole. Just admit that New Pal is a top program despite its 4A enrollment. No one is saying they'd go 8-1 playing a full season in the MIC. But in a 1 game scenario they can play with anyone. Although I do think this WC team beats them by 20+.

    Center Grove @ New Pal

If Zionsville plays New Pal like they played last night New Pal by 30, but I don't expect that to happen. Agree. But if New Pal plays their "A" game no one in 5A beats them.

  12. I can help with the grading. Would prefer to do 5A but whatever you need. Just have to finish 1A for my entry, should be done later today so that's 9.
  13. It is that way with several of the first round games in 5A, not just sectional 13 Several of the 5A first round games are like that for me as well.

    2018 Conference Champs

New Palestine clinched at least a share of the Hoosier Heritage, plays Delta next week for outright. Currently has 41 straight conference wins.
