We had a situation last night on a PAT attempt where a #50 lined up as the TE. The kicking team ran a fake extra point, and released the TE #50 to the corner of the end zone where he caught the ball for 2 points. We questioned the official on our sideline about how an ineligible number was able to receive a pass down field and we were told that during kicking situations numbers do not matter. What is the actual rule? Thanks in advance.

What is the ruling on returning to the field after halftime? Asking because we had a situation where the opposing team did not have anyone on the field when the 15 minute halftime was over, but the officials said as long as they report before the extra 3 minutes run out they are good.
