  5. @Grover that's a great point!

We tried to schedule around the Glazier Clinics as much as possible, it just gets hard to find open weekends in Feb, and then March is IFCA and a month's worth of different school's spring breaks.

The bottom line though, is I agree, gotta try and avoid the wrestling State Finals, it's such a cool weekend!

At least Coach Rad didn't schedule it on Easter weekend like I did last year!

  6. This Thursday at 9 PM EST, we will continue our free Virtual Clinic Series!

Few things keep Defensive Coordinators on their heels, like Empty formations and a well-executed screen game.

Coach Clevenger will talk about the Franklin Central Flashes Screen Game and the different variations that make it successful.

Coach Wissing will then talk through the Empty Passing Concepts that the Merrillville Pirates have used to gain yards in the air against multiple coverages!

This is a free virtual clinic, sign up at www.60secondclinic.com/bandb

This will be a great clinic as we build up to the Air It Out Clinic coming Saturrday 1/28!

  7. We've finalized the Speaker list for our second Air It Out Clinic and the speaker list just keeps getting better.

    • Kyle Buresh, Mississinewa-2 Route Tags to Expand Your Base Pass Game
    • Sam Baker, Rolling Meadows-3rd Level RPOs
    • Andre Dobson, Greenwood Christian-Tunnel Screens
    • Brian Dugger, Martinsville-Building RPO's Out of Multiple Offenses
    • Joe O'Connell, Crown Point-Run Action Passes

This clinic will have a total focus on the forward pass and using it to attack the defense. With segments designed to attack the Safeties coming downhill (3rd Level RPOs and Run Action Passes) to segments making the defense cover the whole width of the field (Tunnel Screens and Building RPOs) this clinic will give your team an advantage for the upcoming season!

The biggest vote of confidence for this clinic comes from the legend Brett Colby who attended last year, "Even we got something from this clinic last year. We scored a Touchdown with a concept we heard here."

If the Godfather of the Double Wing Offense can get some passing tips, everyone can!

  15. I sent this out to several email lists but wanted to share it on here as I know there are people on here that are not on the email lists that I sent it to.

    Good Morning,

I hope everyone is having a great June and has made it through healthy.

I am writing to you to let you know that I have taken over the Facebook page for Hoosier HS Football. My goal is to use it as a medium to grow coverage of the High School game in Indiana by focusing on the athletes, coaches, refs, and fans. One of my significant motivators for purchasing the site was to ensure the focus stayed on the athletes and all of the positive things that football can provide for young people.

I purchased the site from Tim Phillips, who did a great job of creating an initial audience. He has since made Pit Viper Sports and is conducting the same interviews that he used with this site to try and grow his following, which is certainly within his rights.

I wanted to reach out to you to let you know that this brand (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and our Website) will be run with the sole purpose of highlighting what makes High School Football great, the development of young men into great people.

One of my first projects will be to create a directory of every team's Social Media and graphics. This will allow media members to quickly and easily see the information you are putting out if you could complete this short Google Form so we can put all the information in one place to make it easier for the media to cover our athletes.

I will also be sending out a round of interviews this weekend. If you can’t complete them, not a big deal, I know how much you have on your plate. I will attempt to ensure you can complete them in less than 10 minutes. I know some people prefer phone calls to emails, so if you would rather talk via phone, just let me know.

For those of you that know me and have interacted with me through 60 Second Clinic, I hope my reputation of building a community for football coaches speaks to my goals for this brand. I would love your help in continuing to develop this into something extraordinary for our state!

  17. Coaches,

One of our sponsors for the 60SecondClinic series is the Marine Corps.

I am meeting with them Tuesday Morning and they have asked for some feedback from Indiana Coaches on how they could provide more value to Football Coaches.

I have created this Google Form in an attempt to gather some feedback for them. I would appreciate it if you could fill it out and so that we can provide them with some valuable feedback!

    Thanks!
