Guerin was 2a in 06. They beat Winamac in first round of sectionals, then i believe Noll then lost to Rensselaer.

Winamac was a 3 point under dog against lcc. I can tell you that bye week during week 2 of sectionals definitely helped and I also think lcc not having to play in the sectional final helped them too. There were quite a few cc coaches and players at the winamac game against NJ. They got to see winamac play live which I think helps more than film. Winamac's bye also helped them get a few extra days for NJ. This temptation guy is a turd.

Winamac had a bye week round 2. I thought that gave them a huge advantage against North Judson. They had 8 days ro prepare for the Jays. I think LCC missing the sectional final was really huge for them too. It gave LCC a week to heal some bumps and bruises and another week of extra practice.. To get in better rhythm. I think in a way their breaks helped but hurt them too.

What's even cooler.. The person who currently represents that district is Lucy McBath who's son was murdered by gun violence.

South Adams is gonna have to put pressure on Barrett and get him out of the pocket. Winamac did get a few sacks, did bat some balls down and picked him off twice but Barrett for the most part was able to stick in pocket. SA does have some really athletic kids so I think they'll be able to keep up with CC's receivers. Arnold will good success imo throwing the ball but SA will have to get some yardage on the ground. I think SA will win but it wouldn't shock me if LCC won.

Correction. Central catholic added a touchdown to go up 12 after a drive that winamac had that was stalled by penalties. Winamac did what they had to do. They got over 400 yards of offense. Forced two turnovers (one resulted in a TD) batted some passes, got some sacks, blocked a punt, got some luck on CC missing two field goals but CC did a lot of damage. Had 500 yards of offense, forced a fumble, had a nice D stand on a drive, stopped winamac twice on going for 2.

Man that game was exciting! The Warriors took advantage of some Knight turnovers early to get out to a nice lead. CC took advantage of a Compton fumble and added a field goal after a Warrior drive stalled due to penalties. Their D stepped up big on 2 2 pt conversions. Winamac took advantage of a missed field goal too. CC is gonna be legit next year. I think this game got the kids from winamac feeling if they put in a good off season.. They can go deep into November next year. 14 starters come back with some back ups.
