Any updates here and when will this be finalized and sectionals posted? Seems like there is going to be alot of movement for both classes and sectionals..... Thanks!

They need to move on from that sleazeball...
Him being gone is a start... wonder who this position intrigues locally...

By putting anyones names up without a press release is rumor and shouldn't be posted.
The gridiron forum is rumors and speculations for the most part... just curious on peoples thinking is all.

What are some names that you believe will put in for this position or possible candidates in your opinion as options.....
They said they are going to work diligently on getting it filled sooner than later... does this mean they have their guy or have one in mind already??

Ahhh I know they need their time to take care of certain teams and put them in the right class and sectional... the mystery mistake of numbers clause.....LBVS!!

When will these be finalized and Classes be set??

I have little faith in the Penn AD Jeff Hart to make a good decision here. There are zero good options internally to fill the head coaching role, but one current assistant is politicking big time and it would be a travesty if he got it.
Oh I am sure its obvious who is lobbying for it internally, and I'm sure if he doesn't get it he will jump ship with his school duties elsewhere and cause a stir....IYKYK!! LBVS!!
There are several coaches going to take a shot at this position I'm sure.... and I feel who they decide on will shock people and there will be a change of culture and back to their winning ways of the 90's!!! On that note where is Rosey at these days.... hmmmm!!!

What would 1a look like if they went to 62 teams I believe Lutherin and LCC stay in 2a due to SF correct??

Classes aren't split correctly - they will split 4A-1A evenly (so 62-63 in each), not 64-64-64-58. If it doesn't evenly divide, the remainder goes in the *smallest* class.
Per IHSAA, they gained two points last cycle while playing in a higher class, so they should stay up.

Seems like 1A would have 64 but only showing 58.... maybe they will keep it at 58???

This moves some teams around in the north for 2A Interesting

So I noticed that Triton is the only 1a school in region 2. Does that mean they automatically get a player o the all state team?

Ya I wondered why they didn’t just kneel on it after they picked up the deciding first down. I’m sure the kids wanted to score but you need to realize that you could be facing them again in the sectional.
Making decisions like that could end up costing Shively some post season awards.. seen it happen before.... to each their own i guess!!
