  1. I'm curious as to the various established youth programs that are out there and whether or not there are also "independents" who don't belong to a league, but instead assemble their schedules on a season to season basis. Here in the Lafayette and beyond area, the ones that are directly familiar to me are: Little Gridiron - composed of a 3rd/4th and 5th/6th grade division. Teams include Central Catholic, Benton Central, Frontier, West Lafayette, Klondike ,,, which feeds into Harrison, Kankakee Valley, and South Newton. 56ers - I believe they also have similar divisions. Teams are all from schools that feed into Lafayette Jefferson. McCutcheon Youth Football League aka Little Mavs - composed of a 3rd/4th and 5th/6th grade division. Teams are all from schools that feed into McCutcheon. Harrison Youth Football League - expected to be composed of a 3rd/4th and 5th/6th grade division. Teams are from Battleground and East Tipp which feed into Harrison. I assume that there's nothing like IHSAA that centrally administers youth programs, but wondered if there might a common resource out there to find out what Indiana has on a youth scale. If there isn't, perhaps folks could post a little about youth leagues that they compete in or are familiar with.
