Indiana teams never get a fairly called game in Kentucky. So that Central/Owensboro matchup will be interesting

I believe the news was saying Owensboro has a pretty good team this year so central will really have to earn this victory. Certainly possible. But they can’t play like they did this last week

Let me get

Memorial over Northview, 49-7

Central barely edges owensboro,  21-20

I guess Reitz over Clarksville NE?

Sorry North, Henderson over North , 45-6

THS over Harrison, 38-6

New Albany edges Castle, 26-23

Mater Dei with a comfortable win over Whiting, 42-20

Bosse pulls away with a victory over Washington, 28-10

can you give us SIAC fans some info about Clarksville NE football?

Whiting plays MD Saturday at the Bowl.  Clarksville, Tennessee plays Friday.

That’s almost 400 miles between schools that will use the visitor locker this weekend

No one has created a thread for the PAC in the Pick'Em Club. Link:

Here are my Week 1 winners, if anyone decides to create a thread in that forum (or run it here until then ... I have enough on my plate):

Bloomington South (toss-up, I'll take the home team)
Central (swing and bubble passes, nothing between the tackles or more than a three-step drop)
New Albany (says Sagarin)
Memorial (all Tigers)
North (even though it's a road game, the Gibson Southern insiders tell me Princeton was overhyped in local media)
Reitz (don't disappoint me)
Vincennes (interesting, mistake-prone Bosse fights hard but takes the loss)

After Week 1
hhpatriot04: 5-2 (forgot Mater Dei's game)
Everyone else ???

Week 2 Picks for hhpatriot 04

Clarksville Northeast, Tenn. (no one likes Reitz)
Owensboro (Central of yesteryear has returned and it's going to take a few weeks to figure it out ... still could compete for the SIAC)
Memorial (solid, solid, solid)
Henderson County, Ky. (sorry North, love the coach but you're outmatched here)
Castle (let's have some faith in Paradise)
Terre Haute South  (on a roll against the SIAC)
Bosse (Bulldogs +/- turnover differential)
Mater Dei (it's a long drive from Whiting)

I dont know much about them other than they got blown out last week 42-6.  Was 8-2 last year but lost 5 games by forfeit because of an ineligible player.  Most of their scores last year were very lopsided in their favor.

Can anyone explain the MD Whiting matchup?

I could be wrong but I heard the whiting team/fans wanted to taste some of evansville's hidden gems. People from all over the country go there to eat at the Big Top. On Sunday morning they can hit up Donut Bank for breakfast and that will make the true west side experience.
