Week 2 Scores and Updates - 2019

Martinsville 22 Bloomington South 6 (6:08, 4th)

With South in Arties' territory, the Arties intercepted another pass which eventually led to another TD. Two-point conversion good. Both picks by the Arties tonight came in their territory and led to TDs.

Martinsville 22 Bloomington South 6 (final)

A well deserved win for the Arties and a poorly played game by South. South's new QB showed his inexperience tonight by throwing three really bad picks, all in Martinsville territory, which two of those resulting in TDs that were the difference in the game. South also really hurt themselves on offense with too many critical penalties that really cost them.

Crucial missed PAT. Saw it live on Summit City Sports.

Yes, saw it too. Carroll really outplayed Snider in second half. The fumble by Carroll deep in Snider territory was difference, they would have scored IMO. Looked like Snider got a favorable call on the recovery, looked very close to ball being out of bounds.

Not only that, seemed like Carroll QB might have been down before the fumble. Both the fumble and recovery looked like 50/50 calls live.

I pretty much watched all game, very impressed with the Carroll QB, looks like they are set for next few years at that position. He may have D1 capabilities.

Agree. He definitely doesn’t play like a Soph.
