TigerFan20 Posted September 10 Posted September 10 Anywho, I’m thinking about making a Stats spreadsheet for the Sectional. 2 Quote
HHPatriots Posted September 10 Posted September 10 I would like to know how these numbers break down by classes, 2a - 4a. While I realize this is private, these are still very impressive numbers. 1 Quote

Mater Dei was in 3A 1995-1996 and 2003-2006, winning 1 Sectional and 1 Regional (2006). All the rest were 2A. Memorial was in 4A 2019-2023, winning 4 Sectionals, 2 Regionals, 1 Semi-State and 1 State title (2019). All the rest were 3A. 1 1 Quote

tango Posted September 16 Posted September 16 HH at North Posey and GS at Southridge this week will help shed a little more light on things. Of course the big one is next week in Lincoln City. 1 Quote

I'd think he would take them up a tick. 1 Quote

CalPreps (my standard go-to projections) has been shut down by MaxPreps/CBS Sports. The only Massey ratings I could find combined Reitz and Reitz Memorial. You would think someone would be smart enough to know the same team couldn't play Castle at Home and @ Bosse on the same day. For what it's worth, Reitz Memorial has a 60% chance to beat Reitz Memorial this week. Quote

tango Posted October 1 Posted October 1 So the IHSAA draw is a week from this Sunday. Whoever comes out of S32 will have the host-site tie breakers in their favor for both Regional and Semi-State. Although the ping pong balls determine the bracket, anyone have any thoughts on what the seeds would be with 2/3 of the regular season over? Using a combo of Sagarin & W/L, right now I would say: #1 Heritage Hills #2 Memorial #3 Mater Dei #4 Gibson Southern #5 Southridge #6 Lincoln #7 Mt. Vernon #8 Princeton Quote

I would agree with you. Winning the last 3 would push Memorial to #1. Their SOS will increase by the end of the regular season, while HH's will likely drop someone given their opponents. HH (and GS for that matter) should be well-rested by Sectionals. Quote

Interestingly enough, we finish with our last 2 games on natural grass - at Vincennes Lincoln and at Bosse Field against Castle. We haven't played back to back games on real grass since 2019 when we played at Castle and then at Boonville. 2 Quote
