It has been a crazy year for conference, as there is a possibly of a 5 way team tie if everything goes as plan.

With the SIAC all busted up. The race for the title becomes crazier:

If Memorial loses against Castle and if Central wins against North, Central will win it outright.

if Memorial wins and Central loses, Memorial will win it outright

If Memorial and Central win their games, the will split it

Now if both lose their games, then a 5 way tie for the title will be between Memorial, Central, North, Castle and Mater Dei

My picks:

Central wins it close against North, 29-23

Bosse fights it out against Harrison, 27-21

Mater Dei wins it against Reitz soundly,  35-7

Memorial over Castle, 28-13

Memorial and Central will split the SIAC title, and await their rematch in the Sectional Final.

We have seen what can happen when the right coach is hired. Look at North. Central for the past few years. Memorial under current staff. Why do so many schools continue to bring back coaches that haven’t shown the ability to turn around programs. With so many bright young minds in coaching these days, how do some administrators continue to fail kids by not making changes? SIAC seemed to be a disappointment these year. I would like to see some new blood.

Completely disagree with disappointment and need some new blood.  Memorial and Central another great season, North , Castle and Bosse much improved. MD after being banged up most the year just took down a team many think win 4A sectional. I think it’s been as competitive of a league as I can remember. JMO

Not sure I get your point.  What "so many schools"?  It sure seems to me the SIAC has 8 great coaches right now.  I don't see how you call the SIAC a disappointment.  Five schools have a chance to split the title (although I don't think it will happen that way).  And the overall quality is as good as previous years.  Central and Memorial are not as good as last year, but they were both state finalists.  That's a pretty high bar.  Castle, MD, Bosse and North are all better.  Reitz may be down, but they've been pretty good the past few years.  Harrison has struggled, but that is a tough gig and I hear the coach is holding kids accountable, which to me is the right way to turn a program around.
