I've said it a couple times and I'll say it one more time, I wish teams who have lost to a team another has beat that is behind that team will get ranked above that team. Especially after said 2A team just beat a top ranked 3A team for a conference championship. Is what it is, can't wait for the playoffs to start good luck to all teams and hope everyone stays as healthy as possible.

For all those who might get confused because that was oddly worded Team A lost to Team B, Team B lost to Team C, Team A is ranked higher than Team C.

I think Cass should be ranked #1 but it has more to do with them beating West Lafayette than beating Western.  Never been much of a believer in the transitive properties of football games.  The good news is that this all get played out on the field.

It would be interesting to know how many top 10 teams in each class use endzone cameras to capture their game film. I would think the correlation would be high, because the endzone view is such a powerful teaching tool.

are you trolling at this point or do you have stock in these endzone cameras. like the 100th post ive seen you make about this lol

I just have a burning passion for all things endzone camera. Their use has revolutionized the game of football and how it's viewed.

Is it the first time ever the top 3 teams in 6A (old 5A too) weren't from the MIC? Going to be a chaotic 6A Tourney.

Carmel at #4 seems high to me. Here is their path to LOS. I don't see a clearcut favorite in the 6A North this season.

Opener at HSE, solid & improving team.

#7 Fishers or Westfield in Sectional final.

#3 Homestead or #11 Snider in Regional.

#2 Laf Jeff, #7 Merrillville or #12 Warsaw in Semi State.

The thing about Carmel is recency bias.  Their 28-0 win over Warren opened some eyes as it should have.

Defense was never questioned but have they figured out the offense?

That's a pretty difficult road, even in their own sectional. Those three sectional teams, including HSE (big W over BBurg on Friday), have the potential to knock off Carmel.

And are Homestead/Laf Jeff/Merrillville as good as advertised to shock the Hounds?

YES, they are.  But no one should be “shocked”if it happens.  Expect chaos in 6A.

NO ONE has separated themselves...

Shout out to former Slicer HC Dave Sharpe who is the D-coordinator at HSE now.

Was there a cooler name for a guy than SHARPE coaching a team called the SLICERS?
