I’m not sure I’d say cyclical as much as just “everyone has caught up” and Penn is no longer the big kid on the block in northern Indiana. This was South's sixth straight sectional championship. Unofficially, South's Maveric Thiery had 244 yards on 27 carries tonight, and he had one long TD run called back because of a hold.
