Yoon is a good player.  I remember him from when we played Lburg in 2017.  They were a tough group of kids.

I'm guessing the one you remember is Gavin Yoon, the quarterbacks name is Garrett Yoon and according to MaxPreps he passed for 2138 yards as a freshman and this year as a sophomore has 2017 and that doesn't include the last game.

Yep, I bet that is right.  My bad.  They were hard-nosed kids tho.  Should be a great game, but the travel stinks.  Good luck Patriots!!

I have mixed emotions about going to Lawrenceburg,  Always love playing new teams and seeing new stadiums but going to Lawrenceburg brings back bad memories from my childhood. My dad was a construction worker on a job and staying in Lburg when he was murdered by a fired co-worker and as a 10yo I spent two weeks there waiting for the end.

Anyway back to the game it looks like they have a really nice turf stadium and even read where they call it The Jungle.

Oh gosh Dave, that must have been horrible.  I forgot they also call their field the Jungle.  I was there once in the early 90’s when we played them.

Unless they've changed it in the last few years, the field is not regulation width... Narrow and the seating on the visitors side is limited.  Get there early .

Great people. Very hospitable.

I always stand and rarely sit in the bleachers.

Terribly, terribly sorry to hear about this.  An awful tragedy.

That is very weird. I’ve never heard of such a thing. Very surprised that the IHSAA would permit a tournament game - especially at this level - on a non-regulation field. You mean the playing surface is less than 160’ wide?

Santa Claus to Lawrenceburg is one of a handful of trips in southern Indiana where the best way to get there is out of state.

Looking forward to it. Two tradition-rich programs. Fan bases who support their teams. Can’t wait!

Never really considered  this but you are right!

The regional tri-fecta.

Stinky, Stink, Stink 1.2.3

The Regional comes to the "PIT"

not the Jungle, that's where we party!

Our Turf is regulation, no clue where phart got that

maybe he hit too many Tiger BL's in the Jungle and mixed up his facts.

Get ready to play in one of the best venues in the state

and if you don't like the game, you can head to Connies

where you can get a dance and maybe even a date??????

The visitor stands are small, so get there early do not stall.

We want you to take in the Seagrams, KFC & Connies smell we got it all.

Don't know much about the Cutler Hillbillies, but hear they got a squad

Let Stink be the first to welcome you, cause Saturday I will be bombed.

Dave sorry coming back to Stink Town stirs those emotions. Come to the Jungle, have a Tiger BL on us!

Tango, the Yoon you are talking about is a Senior! One of the best WR's in the state. His numbers are low as he was out half the season. His family opened up a new cleaning company called Yoon's Rub and he had to help with that. Little Yoon his brother, 10th grader is a machine! He can flip the switch. Y2 Squared is a deadly duo.

This should be a great game with two great programs! Stink would lay a weeks worth of Tiger BL's on whoever wins this game will get the honor of taking on the Chatard Catholics in the "Can" Thanksgiving weekend,  just an early Sunday morning prediction before I get too many BL's in me.

Let the fun begin, hope to have some fun on here this week!

I agree the winner will have cleat path into LOS.  HH is a solid squad, run heavy, disciplined and well-coached.  QB is explosive and faaast.  Should be a great game.

The field has never been less than regulation size, I have no idea where you got that idea.

The visitors side stands are in fact limited. "Get there early" is a good piece of advice.

If you don't get there early and find parking to be a problem, you can easily park on Walnut Street which is across US 50 from the high school. (There are tunnels under US 50 so you won't have to play Frogger with your life on the highway.) Parking over there really isn't any more inconvenient than parking behind the school which is where you will likely end up otherwise.

If you come into town early and are looking for something to do you can hit the casino, new sportsbook, or one of many dining options on property. If you are looking for a decent restaurant Whiskey's is a favorite for the locals. Strong's Pizzeria is also fairly popular and offers brick oven pizza just a block or so from the riverfront. Both establishments are just a couple minutes from Neary Field at Dick Meador Stadium (aka The Pit).

cant believe Connies didn't make your establishment list

as they have the best "string" cheese in the Southeast!

Clearly, I overlooked that important local establishment. My bad.

I also was remiss by not mentioning Larosa's pizza (a Cincinnati favorite), and the other businesses out at the intersection of I-275 and US 50, including the multiplex cinema. I suspect most will be traveling through Kensucky and will therefore be in that area (5 minutes from The Pit.)

If anyone is planning on an overnight, there are several hotels in the area, but the nicest is likely the DoubleTree Hilton overlooking the river, if price isn't your top concern.

Stinky, Stink, Stink 1.2.3.

that is 6:00 Stink Town Time

so that leaves me plenty time to drink.

The Jungle will be crazy with Tiger BL's

if any of the Patriots want to join just come on down!

Lets get some facts rolling. Had time in the shop today to do some research, not too many oil changes today.....

QB Match-up?? This seems to be in the Tigers favor. Stink will throw this out there. Is this the best dual threat QB the Cutler Cuties have faced? Please don't say the cat from Gibson Southern.....He is a dude, but just a pocket QB? Yoon has that Zoom, Zoom speed almost like what I am hearing about your kid? Stink Town may need to go back downtown to get some more stray cats to chase this week. Had a Stink Town Coach tell me today while drinking a few Tiger BL's he can scoot?

Hog Boys?? Don't know much about that line of the Patriots, but stats show they must like to run the ball so those hogs must like to eat. The Stink Town line can move! Heck if both teams run the ball, this could be the shortest game in awhile for Stinik Town.

Pretty Boys?? The WR's - No discussion, Stink Town wins this one. Stink has dudes the remind me of Ocho Cinco & Randy Moss.....They make plays. They dance, they got swag!

Get'er Done RB's - This topic could be interesting...Stats show those Cuties have a dude in Phoenix??? Stink Town has a dude by the name of Burd (who flies like an Eagle) Coach did tell me, two different types of backs. Should be a good one!

Let's get this rolling then we can talk about the side that wins championships.....

Also does anyone know what time those Patriots plan to arrive? They coming in some nice Yellow Hounds or going all out for some Charters. I hear they are old school, time will tell. Yellow Hounds for life!

The Heritage Hills quarterback scores every way possible he has 9 rushing touchdowns,  8 passing touchdowns, 2 interception return touchdowns, 2 punt return touchdowns,  1 kick return touchdown.

One advantage for HH has to be take aways Patriots are a +22 and what I saw on MaxPreps through 11 games the Burg was -1 but that doesn't include the Greensburg game.

HH has intercepted 23 passes and only thrown 1 for a + 22 fumbles are even 7 for HH and 7 for our opponents.

According to MaxPreps through 11 games the burg has thrown 9 interceptions and and intercepted 8 and fumbles were even 6 - 6 for the -1 depending what they did Friday.

And our 6'4" 305 pound lineman deflected one of the 6'5" Gibson Southern quarterbacks passes in the first game and hauled it in for the interception. Patriots can pass if needed but when most teams stack 7 or 8  in the box against you and you still have 3441 rushing yards in 12 games no need to be pass happy.

Sigler has 8 of the Patriots 23 interception on defense.

The depth took a bit of a hit after a key injury against Gibson but Rodgers who previously split time with Wetzel at Fullback moved to Wing last Friday and had 103 yards rushing and 4 touchdowns.

Honestly though with teams from different regions and  no common opponents it's hard to predict because who really knows how they matchup untill they face off.

Going to be a long week.
