I have mixed emotions about going to Lawrenceburg,  Always love playing new teams and seeing new stadiums but going to Lawrenceburg brings back bad memories from my childhood. My dad was a construction worker on a job and staying in Lburg when he was murdered by a fired co-worker and as a 10yo I spent two weeks there waiting for the end.

Anyway back to the game it looks like they have a really nice turf stadium and even read where they call it The Jungle.

What a tragedy Dave. Sorry.

The field has never been less than regulation size, I have no idea where you got that idea.

The visitors side stands are in fact limited. "Get there early" is a good piece of advice.

If you don't get there early and find parking to be a problem, you can easily park on Walnut Street which is across US 50 from the high school. (There are tunnels under US 50 so you won't have to play Frogger with your life on the highway.) Parking over there really isn't any more inconvenient than parking behind the school which is where you will likely end up otherwise.

If you come into town early and are looking for something to do you can hit the casino, new sportsbook, or one of many dining options on property. If you are looking for a decent restaurant Whiskey's is a favorite for the locals. Strong's Pizzeria is also fairly popular and offers brick oven pizza just a block or so from the riverfront. Both establishments are just a couple minutes from Neary Field at Dick Meador Stadium (aka The Pit).

I’m going assume this is the same Strong’s that has a place in Newport KY? If so..Wonderful Vodka sauce pizza and a real unique set up. The pizzeria is actually in a residential home. Not sure what L’ burg’s is like.

Runner, Runner, Runner 1.2.3.

You come on Friday and you will see

but it won't be at a football game cause we are playing Saturday!

The Clown will show you a good time

We'll hit Boogie and Connies and you will be surprised

So come on up and bring a friend or two, we'll drink Tiger BL's

and get up on Saturday without hitting snooze!

Chris Green Forever - Jay Cutler Never! (just kidding) Cutler has a better career than our man Greenbean!

It would be an honor to be in the presence of the STC. I don't even know what Tiger BL's are, but i want 12 of them.

Every other year in HS football, I would be on the field in Greyhound green and white to receive a Tiger butt-kicking.

Even so, it’s a special place.  Dick Meador was prowling the sidelines then rather than being the namesake.

Two great traditions playing at a classic venue.this weekend.

Saturday, huh?  I may have to ask my better half permission to attend.

She used to be on the sidelines back in those days, as well, in her green and white Greyhound cheerleader uniform.

Back in the Jurassic era.

that is 6:00 Stink Town Time

so that leaves me plenty time to drink.

The Jungle will be crazy with Tiger BL's

if any of the Patriots want to join just come on down!

Also does anyone know what time those Patriots plan to arrive? They coming in some nice Yellow Hounds or going all out for some Charters. I hear they are old school, time will tell. Yellow Hounds for life!

Stinky, Stink, Stink 1.2.3

Not sure about Jungle Nation, but this ones from ME

All this talk about Cutler Cuties and the Southern Hillbillies

Your smack can't be serious, it's just plain silly

The boys from down here, you bet they'll come to play

Drink up your BL's, damn man I'll even pay

Keep pumpin' your team, that's fair enough

I like the Patriots in this one, they're mean and they're tough

Where are our friends from Batesville. I'd be very interested to hear their input, given as how they are the only EIAC team HH has history with.

HH will be just fine. How many Wishbone teams has Lawrenceburg faced? A scrambling quarterback has presented problems to HH over the years, but this is probably the best LB and DL HH has had in more than a decade.

Picking on No. 3 could be a grave mistake if that's the route the Tigers take. We all saw him playing the ball, after a harsh Monday reminder, watch for the masked corner cover.

Only Boney, Bone, team the that Stink Town has faced was Hondaburg (Greensburg) last year. They are now the Bone Spread, so to Stinks knowledge no teams in the EIAC run the Boney, Bone, Bone.

Casket Nation has nothing but love the HH boyz. Saw a few of them out Saturday night at Tuba's.

These Billy's from the South, they have no clue. Stink is Coach K, I know this ain't true.

You're rhyme's not bad 74, you have talent I see. But you'll never match that of the EIAC.

HH is solid with a lot of tradition, but this years Tigers seem to be on a mission.

The Pit it is crazy, one of my favorite spots. But I usually finish at Connie's, payin them thots.

This dog takes the Tigers, the Pats they are doomed. Come Saturday night, they'll find they've been "Yooned"!!

Stinky, Stink, Stink 1.2.3.

Football is what the Clown talks about & Connies

The Patriots & Stink Town are a combined 23-1

So you know this is going to be a good one.

Stink & the Crew took a look at Johnny Harrell's site

and two wins over GS & Southridge make you drink Tiger Bud Lights! (Tiger BL's)

K9, K9, K9  7.8.9

That's your opinion quite surely not mine

My talents of rhyme are quick and carefree

A Tigers' football mission I truly don't see

Doomed and "Yooned" is no way to go

Saturday night the Patriots will put on a show

A team 11 strong geared up for a fight

The  Pit and your boys, season over....good night

Maps says its anywhere from 164.9 miles to 184.0 miles from the town I live in Dale depending on route you take.

Edited my original post to include scoring averages and margin

That’s a long one. Did 200+ to Perry Central several years ago
