Irishman Posted March 10, 2020 Share Posted March 10, 2020 Yep...started a topic to brag about our Dogs. This was a HUGE upset in Northeast Indiana. Homestead came into Sectional 6 ranked 24th in the State, and were expected to roll through this sectional with ease. They had soundly beat every team in this sectional in the regular season. They played New Haven for the title, and had beaten the Dogs 75-59 back in December. New Haven steadily improved as the season progressed; especially becoming a tough defensive team. That defense was the difference as the Dogs won 46-44. Proud of our guys. This is by far the biggest program win in at least the last 20 years.
