Best "Single Game" Performance You've Seen?

Continuing the conversation, we've seen "greatest team" and "greatest individual play" you have witnessed.  What is the single greatest individual GAME performance that you have seen?

As I mentioned in another thread, mine goes to Desmond Tardy of Warren Central in the 2003 5A state title game.

14 carries for 317 yards and FOUR touchdowns...and it could’ve been much worse as he only had 3 carries (for 30 yards) after halftime.

Warren was up 50-0 at the half and probably could have scored over 80 had they wanted to.  Tardy could have had 500+ had they not called off the dogs...

The Warriors threw ONE pass all night.

Everyone else on the field appeared to be moving in slow motion that night.

Without a doubt the greatest single game individual performance was by Cathedral's Otis Shannon at Cincinnati LaSalle in 1999.  Otis ran for a then state record 489 yards in a game against an outstanding opponent, on their home field.  Cathedral trailed in the game 14-0 before they ran an offensive play, but came back to win 34-24.  Otis probably had another 50 yards or more called back by penalties.

This broke the record of Jeremy Chadwick (Danville)  who ran for 478 yards & 7 TDs (I believe) in 1996 against South Vermillion in Sectionals.

2015 West Washington @ Paoli. WW won 52-34. WW RB Landon Mcpheeters had 13 rushes for 297 yds and 7 Tds. Small ball and player nobody but WW fans remembers but man that team was good.

The late Jermell Whorton rushed for 250 yards and 5 TD’s in the 2002 Regional win for Ben Davis over previously unbeaten Warren Central 35-28.

That was in a mudd pit game. Field was a mess and somehow he was still able to put his foot in the dirt and make some unbelievable cuts on the field

Alex Neligh 2015 5A title game and in my opinion its not close given the sheer numbers and it was in the title game, yes a losing effort but he clearly did all he could.  Threw for 501 yards and 4 TDs, ran for 166 yards and 4 TDs.

Trey Thompson was a guard on CG's 2008 team.  In a game against Ben Davis he had more pancakes than anybody I've ever seen.  His kick-out blocks when he pulled on sweeps were spectacular.

Finally some O-Line Love

Ill post mine,    Trevor Ellis, rushed 8 times for 354 yards and 5 TD's in the Sectional Championship game in 2014 against Cardinal Ritter.

Otis goes with James Banks in the “wish it had turned out differently” category.  Such freaks of nature.

Absolutely!  It's a shame neither really had a chance to show their talents in college.

Otis is doing quite well in his life now.  I've had a chance to talk to him a few times in the last couple of years.  He's a happy family man.

Brandon Grubbe - Lowell vs. South Bend Washington, 2009 sectional semi-finals. Brandon carried the ball an incredible 55 times for 294 yards and 3 TDs, leading Lowell to a 24-7 victory over the Panthers. If that wasn’t enough, he also played man coverage at cornerback all night vs. a Div. 1 receiver.
