John Hendrtix led team will always be a tough out.

I know LCC has a great history, I know they've lacked the practices and games this year. Gonna be a tough game.

DC Gavin Breyfogle going up against his former alma mater, OC, DC and ST coach.

Gonna be interesting to see. Hope to meet some LCC fans.

Tipton QB Sam Edwards was offered by D2 Central State University last night. Sam has made a huge improvement from last year and is a big reason Tipton is still playing.

Can anyone give me some info about LCC?

I know they have junior clark barrett and Baylor? Baylon? Smith? Who is a jr or sophomore?

Big oline? Big dline? How many guys they return from last year?

They’re not overly big but have good speed. QB is good but not real mobile. If you let him sit back there with no pressure he will pick you apart. Sophomore WR Deinhart really impressed me this year. They have a couple other solid receivers as well.

Winamac has decent size and strength. They don't have a ton of speed.

Historically, although I've not dialed in this season to verify, LCC's speed on defense has often made up for lack of size ... especially when paired up against size with minimal speed.  The angles they tend to get, coupled with the setback they use ... if they are still using it ... typically has them playing bigger than their size would indicate.

Size ends up being more of an issue on offense when the QB has lower mobility as in with Barrett.  LCC has typically had decent-sized OLine with less mobile QBs ... Denhart comes to mind ... and traditionally tend to usually have a decent receiving corps that doesn't rely on one or two receivers only.  That plays into the issue with someone like Barrett, who as you pointed out will pick you apart if he has time.  Again, I've not dialed in to LCC much this season, so I don't know if they've continued that tradition of having like 12 receivers on the field or not, but if they have, even with a smaller line, Barrett will have plenty quick targets to get to.  Earlier on in his career, he had trouble reading that many folks and taking advantage, but with age has come experience ... and last year's run to LOS certainly helped him mature into a better receiver reader.

I think Winamac should put up a better fight then Frontier and Clinton Central did... I just worry about pass D and offense being able to score.

Man that game was exciting!

The Warriors took advantage of some Knight turnovers early to get out to a nice lead.

CC took advantage of a Compton fumble and added a field goal after a Warrior drive stalled due to penalties. Their D stepped up big on 2 2 pt conversions. Winamac took advantage of a missed field goal too.

CC is gonna be legit next year. I think this game got the kids from winamac feeling if they put in a good off season.. They can go deep into November next year. 14 starters come back with some back ups.

Correction.

Central catholic added a touchdown to go up 12 after a drive that winamac had that was stalled by penalties.

Winamac did what they had to do. They got over 400 yards of offense. Forced two turnovers (one resulted in a TD) batted some passes, got some sacks, blocked a punt, got some luck on CC missing two field goals but CC did a lot of damage. Had 500 yards of offense, forced a fumble, had a nice D stand on a drive, stopped winamac twice on going for 2.

So what's up for the Hoosier Conference in the coming seasons?  For a while, the Hoosier Conference was able to boast that it had a representative at LOS in one or more contests for several years strung together.  That has fallen off recently.

Since 2000, the Hoosier Conference has had a representative on Thanksgiving Weekend in 1A, 2A, or 3A, and sometimes more than one, in 12 of those years.  Going back just the last ten years, it's 7 years worth of HC representation.  This year it looks like an outside chance, Harrell's gives LCC just a 15% chance of coming out of semi-state alive and the recent line shows LCC as an unprecedented 40+ point underdog in the semi-state game which now appears that it's going to be a roadtrip.

LCC moves up to 2A this next year which will, for the second time in 20 years will give the HC no chance for representation in 1A ... the last time came when LCC was SF'd into 2A back in 2013/2014.  Chatard moves up to 4A next season which makes the Sectional of Death slightly less deadly for West Lafayette.  What lies in store for RCHS, Tipton, and Western as well as a building HH?  TL still holding down the middle, with Cass attempting to rebuild, and BC and Northwestern showing some signs of life.

I don't even know if Cass wins more games next year then they did this past season. I like their freshman and sophomores. Their juniors are just really rough.

WHAT A RACE TO THE END!

If South Adams 2 - Point try would have been successful then we could have had co-champions. But congratulations to @LCCAlum who was on top and stayed that way for majority of the year and held off furious chases, challenges, and pickers biting at his heels.

After many years trying, this is my first Catalina Wine Mixer Title. I used my PP advantages to stay ahead of the pack. After Luers failed me in miserable fashion, new comer to the party Covenant Christian pushed me over the edge. In honor of 2020, here is a rough version of the song that embodies all Catalina Wine Mixer Champions.  Last but not least, DONATE TO THE GRID!

Tipton has a really nice core back next season. Biggest hole is at QB but we have a sophomore to be that I think will be up for the challenge. 4/5 of the OL will return as well as 1,000 yard rusher Carter and Powell at WR with over 500 yards. Defense should be stout again especially the front 7. Replacing Pearce at WR/S will be tough but should have some guys ready to step up.

Heights is on the upswing in my opinion. They have a really good sophomore group(Juniors next year). Griffey is back at QB, Tuma at Wr and Ehman at RB. After improving quite a bit this year, I think they’ll take another step next year. Gonzoron’s boy is gonna be a good one!

Western will probably take a step back after losing this loaded senior class but they’ll still have some dudes and should still be solid.

Northwestern will be breaking in a new coach again but not sure we see much improvement from them.

Cass should be much improved in year 2 of Mannering but not sure they have the talent they are accustomed to.
