Whiting will play their last two games against Griffith and Boone Grove. I also think the Hammond schools are playing the last two games as well, but can't confirm.

If they are doing this to make sure they can play in the tournament, they may be the first team on the draw brackets with a record of 0-0. I'm glad they are getting a chance to try to play!

A natural rivalry as the schools are only 6 miles apart yet haven't played each other in 38 years.

Wow! Did not realize they hadn't played each other in that long. Not that it will be a game this year, but that is cool that they have had the chance to get this scheduled.

Late Thursday, there is word that Crown Point must cancel their final 2 games with Chesterton (10-9-20) and Michigan City (10-16-20).

That means 3 weeks off before the sectional 1 semifinals, right?

Bad news, coach...Chesterton was the final home game for the seniors....warm night....good crowd might have showed up from Chesterton.

Week 9 was MC's final home game for their seniors..

Hamilton Southeastern at Brownsburg has been cancelled. The issue is with HSE, as Brownsburg is looking for an opponent.  Could be Warren Central, who also is looking.

Friday night's Hamilton Southeastern vs. Brownsburg football game is canceled. Brownsburg still open to scheduling a game.

To add to this, Kyle Neddenriep of the Indy Star today added that Warren Central would not be Brownsburg's opponent. WC is not looking for a game this weekend, so they will have two weeks off prior to the 6A tournament. Brownsburg is trying to get an out of state team for this weekend.
