I can’t disagree with you more on the premise of who had the bigger win for their programs.
with out looking, how many BIG games had Rutgers won in the last few years?

Indiana might be more talented

and they should win

But winning a big 10 game was huge for Rutgers

Check with the record players see if they think they can be in Indiana

Check with the Rutgers players and ask them if they can beat Indiana

For the two programs, you have a point as far as who had the bigger win for themselves. BUT, the bigger win from the outside looking in goes to IU. Penn State was a much higher ranked team than Michigan State. That is all I based the opinion on.

Sure, MSU beat Michigan, but Michigan just is not very good. Minnesota’s defense looks like an IU defense under Wilson so far in two games. I still don’t think MSU is a very good team.

Are you a light bulb? How many whats are you?

Go back and look at the sentence I bolded in your post. I have no idea what

Check with the record players see if they think they can be in Indiana” means.

37-21 and IU was clearly the better team.

I don't follow IU recruiting unless it's an in-state target that Purdue is also interested in, so I didn't know the Penix's background until I heard about it on a college football podcast I was listening to. I find it comical that Pruitt pulled Penix's scholarship offer to Tennessee when he arrived in Knoxville as the new coach. Penix >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Guarantano.
